Simon Lee 画廊伦敦空间有幸再度呈獻德克斯特·达伍德（Dexter Dalwood）的新畫作，是次是他在倫敦畫廊展出的第二個展覽。

达伍德(Dalwood)的畫作讚頌同時質問藝術媒介的歷史，繪畫作為我們如何體驗每日生存的表達方式，對其持續重要性的體認在作品中表露無遺。他編製出回憶的敘述，以單一影像匯聚過去、現在和未來，在我們演繹什麼是已成過去，什麼是還未到來之間架接橋樑。

「德克斯特·达伍德(Dexter Dalwood)的新畫作描畫出一種融和氣氛與事件，獨持與徵兆強而有力的混合體。作品把不同情景描繪成心理活動，彷彿以存在主義的角度描述旅程、過渡和位置。它們的版本嚴酷、猜疑、冷漠；它們對時間的本能感知，跟現代旅人的相近——絕緣、無國籍的，冷靜而同時脆弱。隨機性和靜止決定了情緒。顏色、形狀和構圖同樣緊張、熱切，在描述意識的細孔張開。由詩歌和變化無常擔綱；被提升瞬間的維度，透過繪畫的媒介改編。」
