在现场温度接近0摄氏度的开放空间，低温刺激艺术家半裸的身体，并通过接触式麦克风，记录了牙齿打颤以及心跳放大。艺术家试图行为本身，了解其身体在极端环境下的反应及其所带来的心理反应。艺术家回忆:“那是一种在进行过程中完全放松的状态，寒冷在此时成为一种类似电的东西，让我的牙齿不由地打颤，身体遁入不规律的颤抖之中，最后成为了一种惯性，我只是跟随着......”。

The artist sits in a room half naked, where the room temperature was close to 0°C, using contacting microphone to magnify the sound of his teeth and heartbeats. The artist tries to comprehend the mental reaction brought by his bodily reactions under extreme environment through this performance: "It was a state of total relax during the process, coldness has become something like electricity that makes my teeth quiver, my body falls into irregular trembling, until it becomes a kind of pattern, I'm just following...".

蒋竹韵，1984 年出生于杭州，现生活、工作于杭州和北京。他 2017 年入围第五届三亚艺术季“华宇青年奖”。

蒋竹韵的创作和研究方向涉足装置、行为、网络、声音、程序等多种媒介及形态。

Jiang Zhuyun (b. 1984, Hangzhou, China) lives and works in Hangzhou and Beijing. He was a finalist of the 5th Huayu Youth Award in 2017.

As an artist, Jiang's works takes on multiple forms such as installation, animation, drawing, experimental music, sound art and audio-visual pieces.
