“金炳昊的装置以华丽的工业感外观，和几何学的内在约束，制造了一种充满张力的个人逻辑：他带来视觉‘眩惑’的同时，也带来对这种效果的反讽和消解，或者说，他将更为严厉的审视隐藏在作品的内部，随着他在展览之后将作品重新拆卸为一个又一个畸零的物件，审视就趋于完整了。”

"The sculpture of Kim Byoungho creates a kind of personal logic full of tension with gorgeous industrial appearance and internal constraints of geometry: he brings visual “enchantment” while also bringing irony and resolution to this effect. In other words, he examines the work more sternly and hides it inside, as he re-assembles the artwork into pieces, one after another at the end of the exhibition, the examination will eventually be completed."

当前，韩国艺术家金炳昊在中国的首次个展《眩惑》在阿拉里奥上海正在展出中，本次展览将持续至2018年10月21日。 金炳昊（b.1974，韩国）是一位在当代艺术语境下力图创造新的雕塑语言的艺术家。他的雕塑既不再现任何人的躯体，亦不展示对材料和形式来源的实验性探索。他的作品是韩国当代雕塑艺术的有力代表。

The first solo exhibition of Korean artist Kim Byoungho in China, Enchantment, is ongoing in Arario Gallery Shanghai. This exhibition will last until Oct 21, 2018. Kim Byoungho (b. 1974, Korea) is an artist creating a new sculptural vocabulary in contemporary art. The sculpture of Kim doesn’t represent any human body nor show any experimental exploration of the material or the form of the origin, which is a powerful representation of Korean contemporary sculpture.

借此机会，上海阿拉里奥画廊携手韩国男子明星乐团BIGBANG的十周年回顾展览上海站主办方CASHART 与YG ENTERTAINMENT（韩国），通过包括艺术家本人的多件作品介绍分析，共同探讨韩国现当代雕塑艺术的发展进程，分享艺术家的创作心得。

ARARIO GALLERY SHANGHAI, together with CASHART, the organizer of the retrospective of BIGBANG‘s 10th anniversary in Shanghai, and YG ENTERTAINMENT (Korea), shall explore the development of Korean contemporary sculpture and the Kim Byoungho’s insight into the creation through the exhibited works.
