《一个动作的历史》是朱昶全为本次展览创作的最新影像装置作品系列。延续了他2017年在画廊里个展时的《有头无脑》和《过去直奔而来》对于空间、时间、记忆、现实虚拟等问题的讨论，新作对“事件”进行了一系列的创作思考。基于动作在时间及空间中的运动模拟，朱昶全提出了“界桩”这个全新的时空单位，并试图把各种事件转化成可以触摸到的“静物”。作品尝试通过“界桩”把诸多事件拆解成无数纯粹的动作，这些动作变得立体又极为抽象，却是接近事件最真实的部分.（该项目由华宇集团华宇青年奖赞助）

关于艺术家：
朱昶全，1989 年出生于山东。2014 年毕业于中国美术学院跨媒体艺术学院，现生活工作于杭州和上海。
朱昶全从分析人的日常生活来介入艺术活动。通过分析影响人日常行为的种种潜在因素，揭示出当下日常生活的规律。影像的效力并非源于自身承载的意义，而是缘于它们的潜在力量，释放观者自身积累的经验，并能在巨大的社会机器运作之中更加自觉。朱昶全认为，事情的发展绝非单线性的,“全因素影像叙事”是他对于影像创作理解而形成的核心观念。通过戏剧、动画、装置、绘画等各种形态的语言，朱昶全在影像与现实日常物品间创造了新的叙事关系。

Zhu Changquan participates a duo-exhibition with title "History of an Action&The Sensation of Logic" at OCAT Shanghai in September 21st.
History of an Action is the artist’s latest video installation and made for the exhibition specifically. Extending from the discussions on space, time, memory, reality and virtual reality addressed in his solo show Head without Brain and Jump from the Past at Vanguard Gallery last year, the new work expands on the notions of an event. Based on simulations of actions in a temporal and spatial movement, Zhu Changquan proposes a new temporal and spatial unit, boundary post, and tries to translate various objects into tangible still life. This work attempts to deconstruct various events into countless authentic actions, which may seem multi-dimensional and abstract at the same time, while resembling to the most truthful aspects of the event.（Courtesy of the HUAYU GROUP & HUAYU YOUTH AWARD）
About Artist
Zhu Changquan (b. 1989, Shandong Province, China) graduated from the Experimental Image Studio, School of Inter-media Art, at China Art Academy in 2014. Zhu Changquan currently lives and works in Hangzhou and Shanghai.
Zhu Changquan engages in artistic activities through analyzing everyday life. He attempts to reveal the rule of daily life based on a variety of potential factors which influence human’s daily behavior. He believes that the effectiveness of the image roots in its potential power rather than its general meanings. The potential power enables the viewers to release their accumulated experience, and get involved in the giant social machinery more consciously. From Zhu Changquan’s perspective, the development of things never follows a single-linear narrative, thus "All-factor Narrative" marks the central notion of his video works. Zhu Changquan builds a new narrative relation between intangible image and tangible daily objects by means of different languages, such as drama, animation, installation, painting, and etc.
