一  心 

        一根根线条，织起一个坚韧又禅意的世界。在这浮华世间，寻到心定的自在。

       它们无声、静止，却又怒放，并随心而动。就像初生婴儿的第一次呼吸，戴牟雨从一根线条开始。这根线条就是“一”，是万物之根源。而线条本身即绘画中最本源的东西，也可称作绘画中的“一”。由“一”生出的每一笔、每一个画面，都承载着他心中的万物。由一始，由心发。在受限的纸张上，他画的每一笔都生出无限的可能。他画下的每一笔都带着自己蓬勃而又静谧的生命力。

       而立之年，戴牟雨舍弃令他安逸的领域，一脚踏上一条荆棘坎途。他决定打破一切，从头开始。从摄影转到绘画的过程痛苦又幸运。拿起画笔的十三年间，他在世界各地共画完了两百本速写。他会一直一直回到同一个地方去看、去画、去感受，仿佛要寻找一个反复做的梦。他给自己扣上一道枷锁：慢慢地内敛，敛而成念，直至看见变成“心像”。在心像中，他找到了最自由的自己。这是旭日东升的第一缕霞光。是新生，也是舍得。

       戴牟雨的作品一直立足于情。多年的摄影经历培养了他感知世界的触角。他能抓住气息的变化，能感觉到一片浓绿的茶叶缓缓坠落杯底时的情绪。他以有情之心去感受，以有情之眼去观察，世间万物在他心中都是有情的。他落笔時帶著情，每一根线条，每一笔墨，每一处留白，皆有情。他于风中，于流淌的时间长河中，抓住一瞬间的感悟，以情入画，以心入画。

       画面上看似板正的线条与格子，细看却是有密有疏，有粗有细，有错落有留白，无尽变幻。远观和近看全然不同，处处都是惊喜。尤其是墨与线条的交界处，墨的晕染和细密的线条，融成一种针扎般的细微刺痛感，这是由不和谐中生出的兴味盎然。

       他画下的每一根线条都是对生活的修行。“一心”二字做来实在艰难。外界诱惑和内心贪欲是生而为人必会面对的心魔。有大毅力者才能做到定心、专一。从画面上的一根根线条中能看到戴牟雨日复一日、年复一年地艰苦打磨，“不偏、不散、不杂”，坚韧又有力。他是在修心。一根根线条在纸面铺开，像一张网，又像一层纱。他用这张网捕捉世界对他的回音，我们则隔着这层纱，影影绰绰地窥探他内心的奇妙世界。

      戴牟雨的作品有着东方的典雅美。罩染多遍的灰色打底和细密分布的工笔线条，渲染出宁静悠远的雅致氛围。而这些却来自现代随处可见的针管笔，及现代人的生活和思维，其上内容也是古典而不古板，不免让人有种时空错落、身处夹缝边缘的微妙之感。他的作品如一轮明月落入人间，清冷中沾染了烟火气息。如鲲鹏遨游天地，浩大而又逍遥。又如大火燎原，野草在狂风中摇曳生姿，心中不免勃发不屈的豪情，又生起一点奇妙的欣喜。站在他的作品前，就好比在屋内焚一炷香，煮一碗茶，听窗外树叶沙沙作响，心就慢慢地安定下来了。安定，表面是波澜不兴的平静海面，底下仍是弱肉强食、物种竞择的现实世界。是扎根于中华血脉的铮铮傲骨，是流传于中华文化的“惟精惟一”，在挣扎和坚持中，品出一点安定的自在。

        心定则万物定。

Wholehearted

Lines weave a tenacious and zen world. In this era of glitz and glamour, find freedom with a settled and determined heart.

They are silent and still, but also blossoms from heart. Like the first breath of a newborn infant, Dai Mouyu started with a line. This line is “The One,” the origin of all. And “Line”itself is the ultimate source of painting —“The One” for painting. Every brushstroke originated from “The One” bears all things in his heart. On a confined sheet of paper, Dai paints with infinite possibilities,eachbrushstroke havingits own vigorous yet tranquil vitality.

At the age of 30, Dai Mouyu stepped onto a rough path — the transition from photography to painting. It waspainful but fortunate. He would keep going backto the same place to see, to paintand to feel. He slowly restrained himself until seeing became “mental image”. He found the freest self.

Dai’s works have always been based on sentiment. Years of experience in photography have cultivated his tentacles for perceiving the world. He can grasp the change of breath, and sense the mood of a dark green tea-leaf slowly drifting to the bottom of the cup. He feels with a sentient heart and sees with sentient eyes. Lineshe draws arespiritual practices. “Wholehearted” is difficult to achieve. External temptation and inner distractionsevery human being is born toface. Only those who have strong willpower can be focused. We can see Dai polishing himself day by day through the lines, tenacious and powerful.

Dai’s works have the beauty of Oriental elegance. The gray background and the fine lines build a placid atmosphere, created from a fine point pen and the mind in the modern world. Let it take you into meditation. Smell the burning incense, taste the fragrant tea, and hear the leaves rustling outside the window. Let your heart slowly settle down. Stability in the mind, like a calm sea. Peace. Freedom.

The mind rules all things.
