二进制舞蹈表演

进入21世纪，

真实和虚拟之间的界限变得日渐模糊，

人们前所未有地依恋着某些想象而活着。

我们都在寻找寄托爱的完美客体，

它由我们潜意识所存在的期望和梦想雕塑而成，

它的影像往往缥缈而虚无，

和我们所生活的现实写照相距甚远。

科技时代，

随着一个个应用程序的出现，

我们不断被要求做一些喜欢

或不喜欢的动作来进行一个个选择：

双击或快速向左滑动。

这个世界的系统只有两个选项：二进制。

本次舞蹈作品的灵感来自意大利多媒体艺术家夸尤拉，真实与虚拟、空间与表面，在二进制关系里存在着一个无所不能的实体和一个无能为力的实体，就像雕塑艺术家与雕塑作品之间的关系。两位表演者试图通过舞蹈，和大家一同探索虚拟与真实对人类关系的影响和意义。

生活在科技发展的时代，

我们身体的运动正逐渐消失，

而舞蹈提醒着我们，

身体依然存在着巨大的力量。

本次工作坊由朱莉指导，分为两个部分：

第1部分：通过释放体验，简单介绍现代舞。我们将探索如何高效地跳舞，以及舞蹈如何给我们带来能量。

第2部分：通过身体运动来探索视觉、听觉、嗅觉、味觉、触觉和本体的感觉，我们将学习如何利用引导刺激的感觉反应来创造舞蹈。

通过本次体验，你会更加相信自己的直觉，相信你的思想、心灵和身体在指引自己做什么。你将用无限的想象力，把所有这些概念、想法和主体联系起来，并将它们转化为身体的运动。

朱莉

出生在乌克兰，游走于全世界，2016年起常驻上海，舞蹈编导、演员、教师。她主要从事现代舞、表演、物理戏剧、即兴创作和现场表演。在她的作品中，她最感兴趣的是社会问题、超现实主义、现代技术和在线过程，她试图打开一扇通往线下世界的窗户。她的重点是跨学科艺术：她的最新作品综合了舞蹈，声音，电影和烹饪艺术，影响人类的几种感官。在杭州国际舞蹈节、ART021、CC基金会、艺术发电站、NOVA ERA国际艺术展、水泥公园现场艺术节、Tinsome艺术节等活动中都有展出作品。从2012年起，她成为了一名自由舞者，并创立了DANCEGRITY。在这里，表演者可以将自己对舞蹈的理解融入其中，并表达出来。

杰瑞德·米姆

美国概念艺术家，在上海工作了8年。他在费城圣约瑟夫大学获得美术学士学位，之后在特拉华大学获得表演和视频专业硕士学位。自搬到上海以来，他在艺术发电站、M50、播种机艺术空间、创意思维博物馆、Basement6、颖艺中心、同济大学、韩国文化中心、毛活屋、上海时装周等多个空间进行了各种不同的演出和展览。杰瑞德的作品从生活在大城市的都市丛林的日常生活中审视社会系统。作为他艺术实践的一个重要元素，他经常与合作伙伴一起开发项目，或者邀请观众在他的表演中与他互动。他的艺术中反复出现的主题涉及身体、非语言交流、仪式和亲密。

In the 21st century，the borders between real and artificial are blurred. We all attached to the images like never before. We all are searching for perfect object of love.It is sculpted by our expectations and dreams. Images of it are artificial. They don’t reflect the reality we perceive. With the inception of image based apps, we are constantly asked to like or dislike with the simple act of a double tap or quick swipe to the left. This system has only 2 options. It is binary.

This artwork was inspired by Italian multimedia artist Quayola who is exploring the tension between real and artificial spaces and surfaces. In binary power relationship there exists an omnipotent entity and a powerless entity, a sculptor and a sculpture. This performance is an attempt to understand the meaning of artificial and real in human relationship.

Nowadays we are erasing the movements in our bodies with technologies. And the dance reminds us the great power of our body.

Part 2. We will explore 6 senses – sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch and proprioception through body movement. We will learn how to create a dance using a sensory reaction to guided stimulus. We will trust our instincts, what we feel our mind, heart and body are directing them to do. We will connect all these concepts, ideas, subjects and translate them into the movement, using our limitless imagination.
