Karina Smigla-Bobinski 2019匹兹堡工作坊现场

明当代美术馆展览“感官边界”参展艺术家Karina Smigla-Bobinski受邀为上海观众带来一堂绘画工作坊。

参与者将在Wassily Kandinsky的“点与线到平面”精神中，用所有的感官体验一个点变成一条线，而这条线又变成三维空间中的一种形式或表面上的一个平面。参与者从绘画中开始冥想虚拟世界，把感知和身体结合起来，在集体绘画行动中表达经验。最后所有人将协作完成一个类同的巨型互动绘画机器“连接你我”，并且用它共同创作一幅巨大的绘画。

About the Workshop：

Karina Smigla-Bobinski whose works “ADA” is shown in McaM’s new exhibition “Sensory Canvas” is invited to give a drawing workshop to Shanghai audience.

In the spirit of "Point And Line To Plane" by Wassily Kandinsky, the participants will experience with all their senses (Synaesthesia) a point that becomes a line, which in turn becomes a form in a three-dimensional space or a plane on a surface. The participants start in the virtual world of imagination in a drawing meditation. Then they combine their perceptions with their bodies and express their experiences in a collective drawing action. At the end, the participants collaborate in a large analogue interactive drawing machine "We Are All Connected" and create a large art drawing.

About the Artist

Karina Smigla-Bobinski，跨媒介艺术家，工作生活于德国慕尼黑。作品常关注科学、直觉、表达和认知之间。她创作或合作的项目从运动雕塑，互动装置到干预艺术，涉及混合媒介、多媒体身体剧场表演和线上计划。

展览现场：莫斯科车库文化中心，莫斯科（俄罗斯）

Karina Smigla-Bobinski 的作品在超过46个国家的艺术节和画廊机构展出,其中包括新加坡美术馆，维莱特公园（巴黎），都柏林科学美术馆（爱尔兰），莫斯科车库当代文化中心（俄罗斯），圣保罗和里约热内卢FILE 电子语言艺术节（巴西），利物浦FACT 艺术与创意科技基金会（英国），曼谷大学美术馆（泰国）和釜山双年展（韩国）。她也曾在世界各地的大学和文化机构进行过艺术家驻留或是举办讲座。

Karina Smigla-Bobinski, lives and works in Munich. She is an intermedia artist with analogue and digital media and move between science, intuition, expression and cognition. She produces and collaborates on projects ranging from kinetic sculptures, interactive installations, art interventions, featuring mixed reality objects, multimedia physical theatre performances and online projects.

Her works has been shown in 46 countries on 5 continents at festivals, galleries and museums internationally, including Singapore Art Museum, Grande Halle de la Villette in Paris (France), Science Gallery in Dublin (Ireland), GARAGE Center for Contemporary Culture in Moscow (Russia), FILE Electronic Language International Fes- tival in S?o Paulo and Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), FACT Foundation for Art and Creative Technology in Liverpool (UK), Busan Biennale (South Korea), Bangkok University Gallery (Thailand). She has also lectured and held various artist residency at universities and cultural organizations worldwide.
