艺术家在中国电视影像史上选取了十个具有代表性的节目片段，包括不同年代不同电视台的新闻、电视剧、综艺、选秀等，作为背景随机地滚动播放。演员在荧幕前方，重现画面中的场景和台词，营造出一种真假难辨的错位感，以及虚实相生的荒诞性。艺术家从集体记忆和群体经验的角度出发，表达对于“大众媒体”和“表演性”的探讨。

Ten representative TV clips were selected to play continuously and randomly as the background screen, including news, TV series, entertainment and reality shows, etc. Standing before the screen, the actors have recreated the TV scene and synchronized the lines, building up a dislocation sense of true and fake, and revealing an absurd combination of reality and virtuality. From the perspective of collective memory and group experience, he expresses his thinking in mass media and acting.

艺术家简介

陶辉，1987年出生于重庆云阳，2010年毕业于四川美术学院油画系，获学士学位，现工作、生活于北京。他曾于2008年获得四川美术学院的 “当代艺术档案特殊奖”，2015年获 “三亚艺术季华宇青年奖” 评委会大奖。他两次入选第18届和第19届 “Sesc巴西录像艺术节”，并于2017年入围“HUGO BOSS亚洲新锐艺术家大奖” 和KINO DER KUNST电影节 “国际竞赛” 单元。

Tao Hui (b.1987, Yunyang, Chongqing, China), graduated from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute with a BFA in Oil Painting in 2010 and currently lives and works in Beijing, China. He won The Special Award of Contemporary Art Archive from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 2008 and Art Sanya & Huayu Youth Award in Sanya in 2015. He was twice shortlisted for the 18th and 19th Contemporary Art Festival Sesc Videobrasil and was shortlisted for HUGO BOSS ASIA ART Award for Emerging Asian Artists and International Competition sector of the KINO DER KUNST festival in 2017.
