此次参展的来自瑞士的四位艺术家：

AroundSpace Gallery is proud to present Multiple Contexts, a Swiss video art show. Four artists in the show, Dominik Stauch, Gabriela L?ffel, Juerg Neuenschwander, Peter Aerschmann, have achieved great success in their career and developed distinguished individual styles. We are honored to introduce you their artistic practice experience, as well as their awards and collection information below:

Dominik Stauch

Dominik Stauch作为互动网络艺术项目（www.stau.ch）的先驱之一，同时也在大力拓展绘画的媒介。 当结合不同的媒介(油画、数码印刷、电脑动画、装置或雕塑)时，他仍然遵从色彩和形式的真实理论。艺术史、文学史与20世纪音乐理论构成了他的作品绘制其复杂深度的重要组成部分。

他的视频不仅单方面通过精心设计的几何结构和巧妙简单的形式词汇来吸引观众的注意力，另一方面通过讽刺的方式引用引语，并由艺术家自己扮演主角，从而让作品产生更有深度的完整互动体验。通常他的作品都伴随着声音，例如斯陶奇创作和演奏的音乐序列。 他的作品变成了几何以及内容导向概念的光学和节奏的实现。

1962年出生于伦敦，大部分时间在伦敦，美国的克利夫兰俄亥俄州和开罗度过，现在生活和工作于瑞士的图恩。

Dominik Stauch, one of the pioneers of interactive, web-based art projects ( www.stau.ch ), has also put rigorous effort into expanding the medium of painting. When combining different medias (oil painting, digital prints, computer animation, installation or sculpture), he nevertheless remains true to theories of colour and form. Art history, literature and 20th century music theory constitute the essential components from which his works draw their complex depth.

His videos captivate, on the one hand, by their well thought out geometrical structures and ingeniously simple vocabulary of forms, but also by sequences that, often ironically, make use of quotation and in which the main character is played by the artist himself. Often his works are accompanied by sound,for example sequences of music Stauch composes and plays himself. His works thus become optical-acoustic and rhythmic realisations of geometrical as wellas content-oriented concepts.

Born 1962 in London, spent most of his childhood in London, Cleveland Ohio / USA and Cairo, lives and works in Thun.

Gabriela L?ffel在瑞士生活和工作。 目前，她正在通过中国瑞士文化基金会Pro Helvetia担任驻场艺术家。 她荣获了2011年和2016年瑞士艺术大奖。于2015年被Pro Helvetia列为“Collection Cahiers d'Artistes”。她的作品曾在北美和欧洲的众多机构和节日中展出。

Now lives and works in Switzerland. She is currently working as an artist in residence through the Swiss Cultural Foundation Pro Helvetia in China. She is the laureate of the Swiss Art Awards in 2011 and 2016. She was listed among“Collection Cahiers d’Artistes” by Pro Helvetia in 2015. Her work has been shown in numerous institutions and festivals in North America and Europe.

Gabriela L?ffel ’s work explores the liminal zones where slippages of meaning take place. She examines the structures that regulate there presentation or interpretation of reality, which we might call the space of mediation. Fragmenting, translating and shifting from live to interpretation are strategies she develops to create a dialectical field of questioning, of reasonable doubt

Juerg Neuenschwander 钮永辰

瑞士导演兼制片人

钮永辰是一位工作网络遍及全球的电影导演、媒体顾问和电影理论家，热衷于探索以人为核心的互动型装置设计，曾执导各类电影短片和长篇纪录片，主持实施过一系列艺术项目及互动媒体作品的制作。目前在上海、巴黎和伯尔尼生活。

游走于创新叙事、创意纪录片、延展电影（Expande Cinema）和大型公共艺术项目的边界是钮永辰的兴趣所在。他一向乐于面对数字化挑战，积极探索和尝试各种只有通过虚拟现实和增强现实（augmented reality）、360°全景视频或Webdoc才可能实现的叙述形式。钮永辰是瑞士电影导演与编剧协会以及瑞士独立导演与编剧协会会员，其影视创作得到了来自瑞士联邦文化署、瑞士广播电视集团（SRGSSR）、伯尔尼电影促进协会以及众多个人和基金会的广泛资助。

钮永辰与国内外众多组织机构、电视台常年合作，从事影片、教学媒体以及互动性媒体装置的制作和开发。钮永辰与他的Container Film AG影业公司一直致力于复杂社会题材影片的传播和介绍工作。

Juerg is an international film director, media consultant, expert in film studies, and researcher of interactive human-centered design. He has directed short and feature-length documentaries, artistic projects, and interactive Xmedia productions. He currently divides his time between Shanghai, Paris, and Bern.

Juerg is interested in the interfaces between innovative storytelling, creative documentary films, expanded cinema, and large-scale art projects. He embraces the challenges of digitalization and explores the narrative forms made possible by virtual and augmented reality, 360° video, and webdoc.

Juerg is a member of the Verband Filmregie und Drehbuch Schweiz (Swiss Filmmakers Association). His films receive support from the Swiss Federal Office of Culture, Swiss Radio and Television (SRF), the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation (SRG SSR), Berner Filmf?rderung, and private individuals and foundations.

Juerg produces films, educational media, and interactive media installations for national and international organizations and TV stations.

Through Container Film AG, Juerg regularly accepts commissions for work that focuses on communicating and disseminating information about complex, socially relevant topics, and about prevention in healthcare contexts.

His clients include the International Committee of the Red Cross (Wound Ballistic); the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (Rasheda – No Time for a Chat); the Swiss Red Cross (Seeing Means Living); Pro Helvetia (Fri-Art NY Made in Switzerland); Swiss Federal Railways (Die Neubaustrecke Mattstetten (Bern) – Rothrist (Olten)); the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health in collaboration with AIDS Info Doku (Confrontation HIV/AIDS, six episodes); Swiss Radio and Television (The World In-between, The Fear that has a Thousand Eyes); H+ Swiss Hospitals (pioneering hospital initiatives); Bern Cantonal Department of Education(Imprisonment); Museum der Kulturen Basel (Bao, the Upright Judge); and the Swiss Federal Office for Buildings and Logistics (The Swiss Parliament Building).
