BANK荣幸呈现群展“建筑性未来主义的遗产”，此次展览首次结合艺术与建筑这两门学科，以致敬莱伯斯·伍兹（1940-2012）这位天马行空、不受束缚的伟大理想家。作为一位艺术家、理论家、教育家和顶尖建筑设计师，伍兹蕴含政治性和挑衅意味的创作极大程度上体现了现存体系与新秩序之间的冲突和危机。他毕生都在绘制社会物质实体与精神层面之间的联系，解析这些构造如何改变了人们的意识。伍兹通常使用铅笔在纸上进行创作，他作品中的复杂世界不仅描绘了人们所处环境中存在的变化、循环和往复，也反映了当代政治、社会和意识形态的现状。虽然他最终得以实现的建筑设计不多（其中最为著名的是成都来福士广场的时光阁），但其设计理念对艺术、电影和电子游戏等多领域都产生了影响（本次展览包含了电影《异形III》相关的概念设计）。除了伍兹颠覆常规的设计手稿，展览还呈现了国内外艺术家与建筑师的创作，他们的作品从不同角度构建了未来的城市生态。

For the first time, BANK brings together the disciplines of art and architecture to pay homage to a visionary whose prophetic creations saw no limits. The Legacy of Architectonic Futurism is a group showin honor of the visionary and fantastical spirit of Lebbeus Woods (1940-2012) an artist, theorist, educator, and architect whose politically charged and provocative illustrations were designs of systems in crisis. Drawing parallels between society’s physical and psychological constructions, Woods generated a career-long narrative of how these structures transform our consciousness. Working mostly with pencil on paper, Woods’ oeuvre of complex worlds reflect the order of the existing being confronted by the order of the new. While Woods only realized a few projects in his lifetime (The Light Pavilion, Chengdu being the most famous) his designs continue to resonate across many disciplines including art, film (see sketches for Aliens III in this exhibition), and gaming. This presentation showcases Woods' unconventional productions together with artists and architects from around the world whose works imagine and sometimes realize our fantastical urban future.
