即使没有艺术家，画面仍然存在

德国艺术家迪特·努尔

1960年出生于北威州韦塞尔市的迪特·努尔是德国家喻户晓的脱口秀明星，但是他“真正”的专业是造型艺术。毕业于埃森福克望大学（Folkwangschule）的艺术和艺术史专业，早期主要从事绘画创作，自1995年起专注于摄影艺术,努尔在业界被誉为能齐驱并驾娱乐与严肃艺术的双料明星。

努尔的摄影作品巧妙而隐晦地叙述陌生世界的故事，关于一个人注视他人痕迹的故事，并以这些他人留下的痕迹碎片做为激发自己编写一个沉默故事的灵感之源。艺术家严格地限制作品的尺寸规模：在北京，上海，香港和纽约创作的一系列作品全部是由统一尺寸的四方体组成。

和努尔尖锐辛辣的脱口秀节目相比，他的摄影作品既不刻薄也不尖酸，“关于这些敏感的作品”，评论家克里斯托弗·塔纳特（Christoph Tannert）说，“它们是由一位具有开明时间意识的艺术家创造的心理经验投影，努尔曾经以绘画为创作手段，现在他把照相机作为另一种形式的画笔。艺术是人创造的，幽默是人拥有的。喜欢娱乐的社会普遍认为这两者都是积极的因素。然而，建构一种有效的艺术语言，却未必一定要是诙谐的。”

迪特·努尔喜欢自己在作品旁以简短的文字为作品做注，从而为他在陌生地方所观察到的人类生活提供了诗意的延续解读。

迅速抛出的笔触，精简，敏捷，构成绘画史上的一些奇迹

人们为其胸有成竹的线条和机动灵活的色块以及涂料的声

音而感到兴奋

我们相信这一切确实反映了艺术的意愿

但也未必如此

画面就是画面

A picture is a picture even if there is no artist

Dieter Nuhr, who was born in Wesel in 1960 is one of the most famous comedians in Germany. But his “real” profession is being a visual artist. Having studied art and history with Laszlo Lackner at the Folkwang school in Essen, he first painted with brush and oil, and since 1995, began to focus exclusively on photography. And now, Nuhr enjoys his double genius in the arts.

Dieter Nuhr's photographs subtly narrate stories of alien worlds, about the gaze of one person on the traces of others, and inspire one's own, inner completion of these narrated fragments. He strictly limits his format: the series of works that were created in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and New York consists entirely of squares.

Nuhr's pictures are neither satirical nor staged with meaning writes Christoph Tannert about these sensitive works. “They are the images of an artist with an enlightened awareness of time, who has painted in the past and now uses a camera as a brush. Art is made by man, humor is something people have. Society, which likes amusement, generally rates both as positive. However, one needn't be witty in order to be an active artist.”

Dieter Nuhr himself has annotated his series for his exhibition at Galerie Michael Schultz in Berlin with short texts and thus provides the poetic continuation of his observations of human life in the elsewhere.

In the history of painting many pictures consist

of a few, swiftly thrown brushstrokes.

One is glad of the security of the stroke, the spontaneity

of the paint application and the sound of the colors.

We believe that all this does reflect an artistic will.

This need not be.

A picture is a picture

even if there is no artist.
