BANK荣幸宣布海蒂·芙欧特参与的展览“它是如此美丽，却又如此脆弱”将于6月23日在比利时根特的S.M.A.K.美术馆开幕，由Wim Lambrecht策展，展览将持续至10月1日。此次展览的出发点源自Lambrecht对转瞬即逝的艺术形式的兴趣，海蒂·芙欧特展出的作品是其使用中国的色情杂志和建筑材料创作于2008年的综合材料装置作品《全世界开始摇摆》。

BANK is pleased to announce Heidi Voet‘s participation in How Beautiful It Is and How Easily It Can Be Broken, curated by Wim Lambrecht, opening at S.M.A.K. in Ghent, Belgium on June 23rd and continues through October 1st. Lambrecht’s interest in the ephemeral and in transient and temporary art forms is the starting point for this exhibition, in which Heidi Voet will show A whole new world a go-go, a mixed media installation created in 2008 which utilizes Chinese erotic magazines and construction material.

在作品《全世界开始摇摆》中，海蒂?芙欧特用在上海书报亭发现的色情杂志折叠成日本折纸，形成花束。这些裸体女人的状态作为欲望的符号被作为与之想等同的符号——花朵重新展开，这些彩色花朵被放入由水泥砖块凿出的花瓶中，从而使这种阳刚的建筑材料及其所折射出的中国大规模城市化建设在栖身其中的花朵和艺术家所给予的优美典雅的造型中注入了女性的特质。

In A whole new world a go-go, Voet appropriates erotic “fine art photography” magazines found on newsstands in Shanghai then folds them, as Japanese origami, to form bouquets of flowers. These nude women’s status as symbols of desire is re-deployed as their symbolic equivalent - flowers. Voet’s flowers are presented in a vessel carved from cinder blocks. This masculine construction material and perhaps referent to China’s massive urbanization efforts is feminized by both the flowers that inhabit it and the sleek historical forms that Voet shapes them into.

海蒂·芙欧特（1972年出生于比利时），以其前卫、幽默的当代艺术创作被广泛认可。目前主要在欧洲和亚洲开展艺术实践，创作中常使用两地的资源和资料作为其实践的观念素材。其艺术体系可被概括为日常生活和材料的奇妙结合。其作品曾在上海当代艺术博物馆，上海当代艺术馆、杭州纤维艺术三年展，台北IT Park，比利时WIELS当代艺术中心，洛杉矶L&M Arts，和立陶宛当代艺术中心展出。此外，其作品也是上海K11的永久陈列。

HEIDI VOET (b. 1972, Belgium) is recognised for her playful and provocative practice. She splits her time between Asia and Europe, often using resources and references from both areas for conceptual fodder in her work. Her artistic enterprise can be characterized by a wondrous engagement of everyday life and materials. Her work has been showcased at the Power Station of Art, Shanghai; MoCA, Shanghai; Hangzhou Fiber Art Triennial; IT Park, Taipei, Taiwan, WIELS Contemporary Art Centre, Brussels; L&M Arts, Los Angeles and CAC Lithuania. Her work is also on permanent display at chi K11, Shanghai.
