继“编辑景观:媒介化之后的个体与工作方式”大型群展(2015)之后,蜂巢当代艺术中心再度推出以1980年后出生的一代艺术家作为考察对象的系列项目“作为窄门的绘画:80后艺术家邀请展”,邀请三十位年轻艺术家参展:蔡磊、陈飞、陈朗慕、高露迪、龚辰宇、顾亮、郝量、侯虹旭、季鑫、简策、鞠婷、冷广敏、李平、李青、李文光、陆超、吕松、倪有鱼、钱佳华、宋朋、宋易格、王一、夏禹、肖旭、闫珩、杨伯都、臧坤坤、翟倞、赵新宇、周思维(按姓氏拼音排列),并特别邀请鲍栋、戴卓群、鲁明军、卢迎华、夏季风、朱朱六位艺术策展人、评论家为参展艺术家撰文评述。展览由夏季风担纲策划,将于2016年8月26日以蜂巢当代艺术中心全展厅规模推出,并展出至9月24日。 ? 蜂巢当代艺术中心曾于2015年推出“编辑景观:媒介化之后的个体与工作方式”大型群展,意欲呈现在当代艺术开放性的框架内,尤其是在观念艺术和新媒体得以普遍运用之后,年轻一代艺术家创作的多重走向;本次推出的“作为窄门的绘画:80后艺术家邀请展”则针对这个群体,试图系统性梳理以绘画作为主要创作手段的部分艺术家现状。 郝量和肖旭都以水墨为创作媒材,他们也都保持了在传统与当代、过去与未来之间的穿梭与反思。郝量(b.1983)以一种片断化的、引经据典而又充满奇想的方式对传统与现代进行激活、重构。肖旭(b.1983)试图将文本叙事及观念客体化,同时又将主体从这种视觉修辞话语中解放出来,在自我的语言中生成和消解着视觉和叙事的“刺点”。 |

以中国画作为媒介进行创作的郝量始终浸淫在当代艺术的话语和实践之中。他既保持对于中国画的特殊性的凝视,也同时不断地探索中国画与当代艺术现实的互动,在当代艺术的语境中展开其创作的实践。通过阅读、收藏与长时间地临摹真品,郝量反复揣摩并形成对于中国画的内在本质的感知,尝试建立与过去时代的创作者的通感,洞悉古代中国绘画中所体现的对于世界的认知方式。通过学习古代绘画和观察自然使得郝量慢慢理解了这些图像产生的过程与内在联系,对画面的时间与空间形成更深入的见解。
随着工笔画在国画界的再度兴起,郝量在这股风潮中以超现实主义的玄幻叙事题材和幽暗的画面崭露头角。他通过手卷为载体讨论时间与空间的问题,也尝试把主观认知放在了情节展演之中,打破线性叙事的常态,由自然空间转换到人体空间,也以两极为题讨论空间的折叠与时间的错置,同时受现代文学启发,在水墨中画出一批皮壳骨骼人物等。这些不同方向的尝试,与在绘画历史中时隐时现的志怪题材绘画在今天再次暗合。

Though working on the medium of Chinese Painting, Hao Liang has been soaking in thediscourse and practice of contemporary art. He not only holds his gaze into the particularity of Chinese painting, but also develops his art-making practice inthe context of contemporary art by persistently exploring how Chinese painting caninteract with contemporary artistic reality. Through reading, collecting and persistently copying genuine works, Hao Liang has figured out the essence of Chinese painting from repeated thinking, in his attempt to empathize with thepainters in the past, and to understand the way of world-perceiving embodied inancient Chinese paintings. By learning ancient paintings and observing nature,Hao Liang gradually worked out how these images are produced and what theirinternal relations are, and has formed a deeper understanding of the time andspace in an image.

Hao Liang has also risen in the trend where the meticulous genre (Go Bi) prevails in thescene of Chinese painting again with his surrealistic fantasy-narrative subject matter and dim scenes. He discusses the problem of time and space through the carrier of hand scroll, and also tries to put the subjective cognition into thedisplay of plots, to break the norm of linear narration, to shift from natural space into human body space and to discuss the folding of space and the misplacement of time revolving around the two poles; meanwhile he creates a bunch of shell-skeleton figures in his ink paintings, inspired by modern literature.These attempts in various directions today fit silently into the my thical subject matters flickering in the painting history.??

我们可以将肖旭画面中的铁网视为一个“刺点”,问题是,肖旭在处理中又试图消解这个“刺点”,比如铁网的形状与水波的形式之间形成了一种对应或融合关系,使得铁网这样一个相对实在的物象被一个虚在的文本——寒林图所吸纳。形式上虽然被抹为一个平面,但在物质性的感官层面上,铁的坚硬与水纹的柔软又构成了一种突兀的辩证关系。类似的修辞关联还有太湖石与云层之间等。关键在于,此时视觉与感官的错位恰恰扰乱了观者的感知系统,反之,观者也因此不断地从一种虚幻的注视中被拉回现实,同时又从一种乏味的实在中被引向幻境。他一方面试图将文本叙事及观念予以客体化,另一方面,又似乎意在将主体从这种视觉修辞话语中解放出来。

The iron net in Xiao Xu’s images can be seen as a “punctum”,but at the same time, the artist tries to dissolve this “punctum”, for example,by creating a corresponding or integrating relationship between the shape of the iron net and the form of the water wave. In this way, the iron net as a relatively concrete object is absorbed by the Cold Forest Painting(Han Lin Tu),a text of visible existence. Though it is reduced into a flat surface in form, on the sensual level of materiality the stiffness of the iron and the softness of the water wave form an abruptly dialectical relationship. Similar rhetorical relation can be seen between Taihu Lake stone and clouds. The key lies in that the misplacement of vision and sense precisely disturbs viewers’ sensory perceptual system, and conversely, viewers are constantly being pulled back to reality from an illusory stare or directed to a dreamland from a dull reality.He on the one hand tries to objectify the text narration and concept, but on the other hand, seemingly intends to release the subject from such a visual rhetoric discourse.
