在影片中，艺术家口中含着一把刀片，讲述自己从小到大学习艺术的经历。最后，她将刀片从嘴里取出并展示给观众。通过这种极具象征意义的行为，活生生的把父母对子女的殷切期盼和沉甸甸的爱，以及对子女造成的沉重负担展现在观众眼前。在艺术家眼里，这样的一份爱往往伴随着压力与痛苦。 

In this video, the artist places a razor in her mouth whilst telling a monologue of her childhood art experiences. At the end of the video, she removes the razor blade from her mouth to reveal to the viewer. This symbolic action reveals her feeling of the unbearable love from her parents. This love, in the artist’s eyes, is often fraught with pain. 

马秋莎，1982年出生于北京，2005年毕业于中央美术学院数码媒体工作室，2008年毕业于美国阿尔弗雷德大学电子综合艺术专业，获硕士学位，现生活、工作于北京。马秋莎曾被提名“皮埃尔·于贝尔奖”（2014）、“第七届AAC艺术中国-年度青年艺术家”（2013）及“第十一届AAC艺术中国-年度青年艺术家”（2017）。

她的作品曾于英国泰特现代美术馆、荷兰格罗宁根美术馆、法国蓬皮杜艺术中心、土耳其Borusan Contemporary、德国杜塞尔多夫美术馆、德国卡尔斯鲁尔艺术与媒体中心、美国休斯顿当代美术馆、坦帕艺术博物馆、圣彼得斯堡美术馆、橘郡美术馆、俾尔根国际艺术基金会、挪威斯塔万格美术馆、波特兰当代艺术学院、英国华人艺术中心、英国Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art、北京尤伦斯当代艺术中心、上海民生现代美术馆、OCAT上海馆、OCAT西安馆、中国美术馆和中央美术学院美术馆等多处展出。

Ma Qiusha (b.1982, Beijing, China) received her BA in Digital Media Art from China Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2005 and MFA in Electronic Integrated Arts from Alfred University in U.S. in 2008. She currently lives and works in Beijing. She was nominated for the Pierre Huber Prize in 2014，Young Artist of the Year by Award of Art China (AAC) in 2013 and Young Artist of the Year by Award of Art China (AAC) in 2017. 

Ma Qiusha’s art have been widely exhibited across the international art scene. Her works have been shown at Tate Modern, UK; Groninger Museum, the Netherlands; Centre Pompidou, France; Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, Germany; ZKM (Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe), Germany; Borusan Contemporary, Turkey; Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, U.S.; International Contemporary Art Foundation, Bergen; the Chinese Arts Centre, UK; Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art, UK; Stavanger Art Museum, Norway; Ullens Center for Contemporary Art, Beijing; Minsheng Art Museum, Shanghai; OCAT, Shanghai; OCAT, Xi’an; National Art Museum of China; and Art Museum of Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing, etc.
