我在 · 艺空间 新展 | 喘息之间：毛君个展5月26日开幕

 喘息之间，一股运动着的气承载着艺术家及其作品，甚至更多时候它小于作品，大于艺术家本人，从而裹挟着艺术家释放的信息，从作品里漫溢而出，向观看者奔袭而来。因此，但凡好的作品在喘息之间，就能够和观者完成能量交换。

Within breaths, a traveling force of air, carrying the essence of the artists and their artworks, overflows outward from the artworks and toward the viewers. Such force is, usually, smaller than the artworks but greater than the artists themselves. Thus, a great piece of artwork would be able to complete its energy exchange with the viewers within breaths.

毛君的作品，一次呼气手上的脉搏跳两下，一次吸气手上的脉搏跳两下，呼与吸的停顿脉搏跳一下，你的脉搏跳五次，也就是喘息之间，便能够和你形成有效连接，完成作品和你的能量交换。迟疑、犹豫和茫然，以及猝不及防地叹息，都可以视着作品对你的一次藐视。东晋时王羲之的老丈人郗鉴所谓的“决胜负于一朝，定成败于呼吸”讲的其实是就是对本质的洞察和判断。

The pulse beats twice during everything exhalation, twice during every inhalation, and once during the pause between the exhalation and the inhalation. Within breaths, your pulse beats five times, and within the five pulse beats, the artworks of Mao Jun would be able to establish an effective connection with you and exchange their energy with you. Your every wonder and hesitation could be seen as the artworks looking down upon you with despise.

毛君虽然科班毕业于西安美院油画系，但与其它学院派艺术家不同的是，他蛰伏于上海的朱家角，经过多年的卧薪藏胆、刮骨疗毒、自我淬炼，最终褒有了一个活生生的“人”所该有的一切，掐到哪里痛到哪里，有血有肉，知道泪是咸的、知道现实是操蛋的，从而不再是朽落破败的学院派的假肢残臂和塑料传声筒，悖弃了义乌小商品市场摊贩式的艺术家之路，每一件作品，都有着极其盎然的生机，有着强劲的呼吸、脉搏和心跳。

 Mao graduated from the oil painting department of Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts, but what differentiates him from other academic artists is that he hibernated in Zhujiajiao Town, Shanghai for years, and endured many hardships to finally sculpt himself to be an actual “human being.” He understands the taste of tear and the hypocrisy of reality, thus he is no longer a megaphone of the corrupted academic art, nor does he reduce himself to a market pedlar artist. Every work of his is lively vital with powerful heartbeats, pulses, and breaths.

 稚拙原朴的点、细碎短促的线、肆意任性的色块，心随天籁，得意忘言，彼此勾连，踩着各自的节拍，结构着一个全新的世界，在这里每一缕罅隙，每一丝留白，都是活的，都是起伏跳跃的，忽而密不透风，忽而疏可走马，迸发着一股生命的原力。甚至在毛君的画作中，你可以目击一根线条狎弄一个点，一个色块追逐另一个色块，恣液横流，无远弗届。

The raw, childish dots, the quick, segmented line works, the unrestrained colors, each following their own rhythms, intertwining with one another, are constructing a brand new world. Even the blank spaces are alive. They are running, jumping, reflecting the beauty of life itself. Immersing in Mao’s works, you can witness a line playing with a dot, or one block of color chasing another one.

 东方的神韵和西方的体貌，抽象的思维和具象的技法，贯通着毛君，也贯通着他的作品。喘息之间，艺术，这小小的涡流，搅动着，旋转着，把我们送往更为开阔的的精神场域……祝福所有观者，也祝福每一件作品。

The spirit of the east, the physique of the west, the abstract thought process and the representational techniques, are flowing together inside Mao Jun and his artworks. Within breaths, the small vortex of art is swirling, stirring, transporting us into a wider-open spiritual place…blessing each viewer and each piece of art.

丁   成

 Ding  Cheng

1981年出生。诗人，艺术家、导演。

主编《80后诗歌档案》。作品入选《1978-2008中国优秀诗歌》《中国当代诗歌前浪》（欧洲）《中国先锋诗30年:谱系与典藏1979-2009》。2002年发起中国80后诗歌运动，在中国引起巨大反响。其以《上海，上海》《广场》《2004悼词》等作品饮誉诗坛。著名诗句“我们不知道还能以年轻的名义坚持多久”更是广泛流传，成为一个时代青年精神的代表人物。
