作品创作的切入点是旅行，但从严格意义上来说，并非是基于地理概念的旅行。旅行在这里应该被理解为一种分散式收集体验的过程。艺术家以旅行作为切入点，因为旅行是体现这种主观意义上转变的最佳方式，它更像是一种关于在概念发生转换的过程中的可能性。作品试图阐述——我们可以通过各种不同的方式去认识和了解这个世界，我们的认知过程可以从任何角度展开，无论是概念、物体、甚至人，都能够自由的转换成和原本与之相反的事物。人们旅行回来之后可能会变得与之前判若两人，这就是一个很好的例子。

作品中的各部分前后连续，其每个序列以及转变过程都试图以一种独特的方式将一个主题与其他主题联系起来。也就是说，各个主题是平等的，并试图展示两个主题间是如何关联的。其中一些关联是通过图像来表现；一些是通过并置来展示、还有些看似没有直接逻辑联系的则是通过直觉和共鸣使人们将其关联。

The starting point of the work is in fact travel, but it is travel that is not strictly based on a geographical excursion and should be understood here in a distributed sense, as the gaining of experience, the fact that one undergoes a process of transformation based on the experience of travel. I chose travel as a starting point because it is an apt metaphor for this kind of subjective transformation. It is more about the possibilities in which conceptual transformations could take place. Based on this, the video tries to explain that there are various ways of understanding the world that our cognitive processes could embark on from any point, with the aim of showing that a concept, a thing, or even a human being, can transform freely into something that is its opposite. The fact that someone can make a travel and come back as a transformed person is one such case in point.

The video consists of a sequential series of clips. Each sequence, each transformation process that you see in the video, attempts to carry out a way of correlating one subject matter to the other, that is, of equating them and showing how one subject matter becomes another. Some of the correlations are iconographical, some happen through juxtaposition, and some are conversational, and some are textual or audio-based. Meanwhile, some combinations are more instinctive, sympathetic correlations and don’t seem to have a direct logical link.
