昊国际策展人驻留项目由昊美术馆和昊美艺术酒店共同发起,面向全球公开征募对希望深入了解中国当代艺术界的策展人、学者和艺术写作者。旨在促进全球驻留交换、并建立与各机构的长期合作,该驻留项目根据每位驻留策展人的兴趣,协助定制与艺术专业人士的会面、工作室参观,画廊和机构参访及其他相关活动的出席。此外,驻留策展人还将与美术馆团队协作,并撰写文章、举办公共讲座等。

 金小璱(Kim Sosul)是韩国釜山当代艺术博物馆(Museum of Contemporary Art Busan)的策展人。她参与过诸多艺术展览的策划,并在当地的艺术项目中担任策展人。


在韩国昌原国立大学(Changwon National University)获得艺术硕士学位后,金小璱进入庆南道立美术馆(Gyeongnam Art Museum)策展部工作。之后,她作为Hongti艺术中心(Hongti Art Center)的项目协调员组织了许多本土艺术项目,专注于文化交流项目和艺术教育项目方向的公共艺术。

2017年,金小璱为大浦地区的当地人策划了一个旨在记录“彩虹产业园区”的发展过程和“Hongti村”的消失的项目。她与艺术家和市民一起收集图像和声音,并使用附近居民自制的暗盒相机绘制地图。

此外,她还组织了韩国艺术家卞在奎(Byun Jaekyu)和日本艺术家藏真墨(Kura Masumi)之间的交流项目并为他们策划日本九州芸文馆(Kyushu Geibunkan)的展览。2018年,她被任命为釜山当代艺术博物馆开馆展的策展助理和关公关系负责人。

目前,金小璱目前正在筹备釜山当代艺术博物馆今年9月的展览“可善的外邦人:即将来临的共同体”(Gentil gentile: La comunita che viene)。本次展览将展出艺术家杨正旭(Yang Jung Uk)和艺术组合 Mixrice(Cho Ji Eun 和 Yang Chul Mo)的作品,旨在向当地社区传播特殊性和普遍性的议题。为了本次展览,Mixrice——这对获得2016年韩国国立现代美术馆年度艺术家的艺术组合将与本地的外国人社区一起举办工作坊活动,并将工作坊的成果在展厅内呈现。



在对艺术策展本身的兴趣之外,金小璱对两位哲学家——乔治·阿甘本(Giorgio Agamben)和齐格蒙·鲍曼(Zygmunt Bauman)的意识形态有着浓厚的兴趣。受两位哲学家理念的启发,金小璱计划从社会学的角度对共同体(社区)进行研究。这项研究涵盖艺术领域的许多主题,包括策展研究、当代艺术家、艺术项目、展览以及发生在中国的特定叙事。

釜山当代艺术博物馆于2018年开馆,占地面积15312平方米,是一座坐落于釜山市乙淑岛的公立艺术博物馆。釜山当代艺术博物馆致力于在现今当代艺术和新媒体艺术的艺术趋势及社会背景下引发全新的论述。此外,由于和美术馆特有的地理环境息息相关,围绕自然和生态环境的问题也是釜山当代艺术博物馆关注的主要议题。釜山当代艺术博物馆重视艺术文化教育的作用以及艺术与生活之间的关系,为观众、居民举办艺术教育活动和多样的学术活动。





HOW International Curatorial

Residency Program


Co-sponsored by HOW Art Museum and Onehome Art Hotel, HOW International Curatorial Residency Program invites curators, scholars, art critics and writers worldwide who are interested in extending their knowledge and getting deeper insights of Chinese contemporary art scene, along with expanding professional network. Designed to facilitate global residency exchanges and establish long-term partnerships, the residency program provides individualized arrangements. The arrangements include meetings with art professionals, studio visits, gallery and institution visits, and attendance at selected performances and other events. Furthermore, the participants are invited to work in close collaboration and coordination with HOW Art Museum’s curatorial team at our museum office, as well as to produce a website/Wechat article or essay, or to organize a public event such as a lecture.


Kim Sosul


Kim Sosul is a curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art Busan (MoCA Busan) in Korea. She has been involved in various art exhibitions, as well as working as a curator in local art projects.


After graduating with a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) from Changwon National University, Kim worked for the Curatorial Department at Gyeongnam Art Museum. After that, she organized numerous local art programs as a Program Coordinator at the Hongti Art Center, focusing on public art for both the cultural exchange program and the art education program. 


In 2017, Kim curated a project for the locals in Dadaepo Area with the aim to document the process of developing of 'Rainbow Industrial Complex' and the disappearing of ‘Hongti Village'. With artists and citizens, she collected images, sounds and mapped the district with an Obscura Camera that people in the neighborhood had made by themselves. 


Furthermore, she organized an exchange program for Korean artist Byun Jaekyu and Japanese artist Kura Masumi and curated their exhibition at the Kyushu Geibunkan in Japan. In 2018, she was appointed to be PR Manager and Curatorial Associate for the inaugural exhibition at Museum of Contemporary Art Busan.


Currently, Kim is working on the exhibition, titled Gentil gentile: La comunita che viene at MoCA Busan, which will take place in September this year, featuring artist Yang Jung Uk and art collective Mixrice (Cho Ji Eun and Yang Chul Mo). This exhibition is designed to disseminate the issues of specificity and universality to the local community. For this show Mixrice who won the 2016 Artist of the Year awarded by theNational Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Korea will conduct a workshop with the local foreign community and the outcome of this workshop will be displayed in the exhibition space.


Research Topic at HOW


Apart from her interest in art curation, Kim Sosul also possesses a strong interest concerning the ideologies of two philosophers, Giorgio Agamben and Zygmunt Bauman. Inspired by the concepts of these two philosophers, Kim plans to conduct a research on communities from the sociological point of view. In addition, this research will cover an abundance of topics in the realm of art, including curatorial research, contemporary artists, art projects, exhibitions and events in terms of specific narratives that took place in China.


Museum of Contemporary Art Busan


The Museum of Contemporary Art Busan (MoCA Busan), inaugurated in 2018, is a Busan-based public art museum Located on Eulsukdo Island with a total area of 15,312 ㎡. It aims to raise new discourses based on today’s art tendencies and social contexts in contemporary art and new media art.  The issues of nature and ecosystem are also top priorities, since they are closely related to the geographical environment of the museum. MoCA Busan takes into profound consideration the role of education through art and culture, and the relationship between art and daily life by developing art education programs and various academic events for its visitors and citizens.
