Participants will be taught by excellent teachers from China’s leading business school and art academy.
Participants will have a global perspective and enjoy resources in the art industry provided by top-notch international art institution.
Participants will learn about business ideas concerning the management, collection, appreciation and investment of artworks, and have a deeper understanding of the characteristics and law of development of the artwork market both in China and in western countries.
Participants will study in four key cities of the international art market (Beijing, New York, London and Los Angeles).
Participants will experience an innovative model of experiential learning which includes field-based learning in various museums and galleries, , roundtable forums, project practice as well as case study.
Participants will have the opportunity to communicate face to face with eminent artists, collectors as well as people from leading enterprises in the field of artwork investment so that they will have a deeper understanding of the logics behind artwork investment and management.
Participants will visit well-known museums, private collections, galleries, auction houses and art institutions at home and abroad. Under the guidance of experienced instructors and experts, they will participate in the whole process of Sotheby’s spring exhibitions and auctions in London.
After the program finishes, participants will be awarded a degree of completion by Sotheby’s Institute of Art, and a course-completion certificate by Tsinghua University.
Participants will regularly participate in some alumni activities co-hosted by Tsinghua AAD, Tsinghua SEM, top-notch art exhibitions and auctions. In this way, they will have the access to an exchange platform of international artworld resources, and to the latest investment channels and opportunities.
