前言 Preface

信息化时代下的一切领域都被信息技术所覆盖，这一特点使得各领域信息的交换变得异常便捷，互联网的发展破除了物理空间带来的局限性，各种交流得以借助互联网的平台无限延伸。我们无法否认，在这场关于信息技术的更新中，互联网交流已经占据了人们大部分的交流时间。在这个背景下，我们依然认为，面对面交流有着它无法取代的优点。那种由面对面碰撞所激发出来的四维体验，是只有在三维空间里才能产生出来的。基于这种理念，OCAT欢乐海岸展区 • 盒子空间的机构推荐展邀请了四个艺术机构作为推荐人，共同推荐艺术家十二位，与观众面对面地呈现他们各自不同媒介所产生的艺术语言的思考。

没顶画廊推荐的艺术家是李汉威、陆博宇；广州画廊推荐的艺术家是孙文浩、文皆俊杰、杨洋；想象力学实验室推荐的艺术家是邓悦君、金亚楠、刘国强、人民比特（小组）；腾挪空间推荐的艺术家是龚胥耀、蒋春林、王子芸。

In the information age, all fields are covered by information technology which provides convenience for the exchange of information between various fields. The development of the Internet has broken through the limitations of physical space and communications have been vastly extended through Internet. We can't deny that, in this update on information technology, Internet communication is the dominant way of most people's communication. In this context, however, we still believe that face-to-face communication has the advantages that cannot be replaced. The four-dimensional experience stimulated by face-to-face collisions can only be generated in three-dimensional space. Based on this concept, the institutional recommendation exhibition by the OCAT Shenzhen OCT Harbour Exhibition Site · Boxes Art Space invites four art institutions as recommenders which recommend twelve artists. The twelve artists will present their thinking to the audience face-to-face about artistic language generated by their different media.

MadeIn Gallery recommends artists Li Hanwei and Lu Boyu; Canton Gallery recommends artists Sun Wenhao, Wen Jie Junjie and Yang Yang; Artists recommended by the Imagokinetics Lab are Deng Yuejun, Jin Yanan, Liu Guoqiang, and RMBit (group); SABAKI SPACE recommends artists Gong Xuyao, Jiang Chunlin and Wang Ziyun.

OCAT欢乐海岸展区･盒子空间成立于2015年，由深圳华侨城当代艺术中心（简称OCAT）出资建设，广州美术学院油画系策划组运营管理，中山大学艺术与文化创新研究发展中心为顾问的非营利公益性艺术机构。空间位于深圳华侨城欢乐海岸购物中心。由主展厅与17个可移动的副展厅构成。副展厅是白色可移动盒子状空间，主展厅则是由顶层商铺改造的一个更大的“盒子”。

盒子空间开创的新型艺术展览模式，使得艺术呈现并没有因为商业而虚弱其意义，反而变得更加坚定，具有突破性，是当代艺术实验介入商业空间的勇敢尝试。

Established in 2015, OCAT Shenzhen OCT Harbour Exhibition Site·Boxes Art Space is a non-profit public benefit organization built and financed by Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Town-Contemporary Art Terminal (OCAT for short), operated and managed by The Oil Painting Department Curatorial Group of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, and consulting with Institute of Art and culture Innovation Research and Development Center of Sun Yat-sen University. Located in Shenzhen OCT-Harbour Shopping Center, Boxes art space is consisted of the main exhibition hall and 17 mobilable boxes as the auxiliary exhibition space. The auxiliary exhibition space is constituted by large white boxes scattering in the shopping mall, and the main exhibition hall is a bigger box which is redecorated from a shop on the top floor.

The significance of the Boxes Art Space is to open up a new model for the art exhibition that Boxes Art Space, in which the artistic representation is not weakened by the commercial activity, but becomes even more firm, with its breakthrough feature.It is a courageous experiment to input contemporary art in the commercial space.
