“2020 · 致幻——都市景观与抽象艺术”于9月5日在上海明圆美术馆正式开幕。本次展览汇集了代表上海本土艺术水准的十位抽象艺术家，反映了上海这一特殊地域下的时代特征与绘画图式，展期从即日起至12月20日，向公众免费开放。欢迎读者移步展厅，感受上海这座城市所带来的文艺景观。

“2020·Psychedelic – Urban Landscape and Abstract Art” was officially opened on 5th of September. This exhibition invited ten artists whose art works could reflect the level of qualities of abstraction in Shanghai, illustrate the overall historical and formal character of Shanghai abstract art. The exhibition is free entrance and open to the public until 20th of December. We welcome you to our exhibition and engage with the cultural landscape of this city.

开幕仪式 Opening ceremony

展览于下午4点在上海明圆美术馆举办开幕仪式，出席的来宾有：上海明圆美术馆馆长凌菲菲、展览策展人了了、参展艺术家陈墙、丁乙、黄渊青、薛松、李磊、曲丰国、丁设。

The opening ceremony of exhibition was held on 4p.m. at Shanghai Ming Yuan Art Museum. The director of Shanghai Ming Yuan Art Museum, Ling Feifei, the Curator, Liao Liao, and artists such as Chen Qiang, Ding Yi, Huang Yuanqing, Xue Song, Li Lei, Qu Fengguo, Sher Ding attended the opening as guests.

上海明圆美术馆馆长凌菲菲致辞表示本次展览是上海明圆美术馆举办的第八次抽象艺术大展，邀请的皆为上海乃至全国具有代表性和影响力的抽象艺术家。在他们的创作中，持续关注到艺术与城市和社会的关系，并由此引发出更深层次思考，这也体现出上海这座城市先锋而独特的精神气质。

The Organiser and Director of Ming Yuan Museum, Ling Feifei, first gave a speech on the opening. She said that this was the 8th exhibition on abstract art by Ming Yuan Museum. It was our pleasure to invite important and influential abstract artists both in Shanghai and nationally to attend this event. Their artworks constanly focus on the relationsip between art and city landscape and trigger inspirational debates on this topic, which has illustrated the unique and vanguardian characteristic of Shanghai.

参展艺术家丁乙先生在致辞中说道，明圆美术馆是上海地区最早的民营美术馆之一，长期以来都大力支持上海艺术家们的创作和发展，对上海艺术圈尤其是抽象艺术产生了重要、持续的影响，也非常高兴能够见到一次次的抽象艺术展在此举办。

Afterwards, Ding Yi said that Ming Yuan Museum was one of the first private art museums in Shanghai. For a long term, the museum has been supportive for artistic creations and development in Shanghai, influencing abstract art significantly and continously. It was also glad to see exhibitions on abstraction to be held frequenly here.

策展人了了就本展览策展理念解释道，本展邀请的十位艺术家，代表了上海乃至全国抽象艺术的最高水平，挑选的参展作品极具艺术家代表性。同时，本展的一个亮点便是采用“暗空间”布景，着重凸显作品本身，提升观众观展体验。并开辟出一个小空间，用于展示艺术家生活的小物件，也为观众搭建了一座近距离贴近艺术家生活与创作的桥梁。

The curator, Liao Liao, explained his curatorial idea that these ten artists represent the highest level of abstract art in Shanghai, even in China. In the meantime, using "Black Cube" to emphasize the painting itself is one of the highlights of this exhibition. The inventive small space of household articles from the artists also brige the gap between the audience and the artistic mind.
