During the pandemic, the political climate in Thailand, amongst everything around the world, has been greatly intensified. This critical point forces everyone, no matter activist artists, young protesters, ethnic groups in deep south or even royalist conservatives, to rethink their political stands and possibilities of action in the circumstances. The turning point is ahead, but the outcome is yet to see. So what a future, immanent and farfetched, this ‘sign of changes’ will manifest to us?
Guest Speaker:
Penwadee Nophaket Manont (Pooh): Independent Art Curator & Cultural Worker based in Bangkok. Managing Director at Southeast Asia Fiction Film Lab Foundation (SEAFIC). Pooh has long been engaged in art practices in dialogue with social-political issues.
