工作室画廊_项目空间很高兴迎来了施金豆作为本期驻地艺术家。她将从10月15日起至12月15日展开为期两个月的驻地创作。期间将会有不定期的讨论活动与工作室开放日活动，期待大家的加入！同时，欢迎大家在艺术家驻地期间来工作室画廊_项目空间探访交流！

Studio PROJECT is glad to have Lane Shi Otayonii as our artist in residence from October 15th to December 15th. During her two-month residency period, Shi will be giving a themed artist talk and showcasing her final project on the Open Studio event. Please stay tuned for more details! At the same time, if you are interested in our artist's practice, we welcome you to take a studio visit and know more about Shi's works!

施金豆出生于中国的浙江海宁，在纽约的“影子”叫Lane Shi Otayonii。2016年毕业于伯克利音乐学院，荣获两届劳瑞·安德森女性科技奖，Global Music Award的最佳女声铜奖，与Audiovisual Arts Industrial Incubator最佳声音金奖等。致力做一个Troubadour吟唱者，与实验硬核乐队Dent巡演跑遍了美国23个州，49个城市，在2015年带着一帮朋友在中国巡演了14个城市。2015年年尾作为主唱和作曲编曲人之一加入了新朋克钉鞋乐队Elizabeth Colour Wheel，巡演至今。

Jindou Shi was born in Haining, Zhejiang Province, China; her "shadow" in New York is called Lane Shi Otayonii. She graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2016. Shi has received 2 times of Laurie Anderson Women in Technology Award, Best Vocalist Bronze Prize from Global Music Award 2017, Best Sound from Audiovisual Arts Industrial Incubator (AMII) Works, and so on. She is devoted to being a troubairitz who toured with experimental hardcore band "Dent" in 49 cities of 23 states of the U.S. and 14 cities in 2015 with her friends. She joined the New Punk Spike Boots band "Elizabeth Colour Wheel" as the lead vocal and one of the composers and arrangers and has been touring up until now.

2016年，施金豆成立了独立马戏团otay:onii, 这个项目负责出产其个人通过采样拼接/电子声音或表演/互动装置的形式来表达的观察和论点，并借此身份来探究“炼金术”的“炼”，“金，“术” 在现代的意义与唏嘘。2016至2020年相继发布EP与专辑《7 Yearster》，《NAG》，《Molelipop》还有《Da Birdie》，装置演出活跃于波士顿Fuzzstival, 新英格兰地下音乐节, 纽约H0L0, Trans Pevo, Brooklyn Bazaar, wonderville等场地。

In 2016, Shi established an indie circus otay:onii, a program to produce her private observations and opinions through music sampling construction/electronic sound, and performance/interactive installation. She also uses this identity to explore the meaning and melancholy of Lian Jin Shu's "Lian," "Jin," and "Shu." (The word "Alchemy" in Chinese can be separated into "refine,” "gold," and "skill" ). From 2016 to 2020, Shi released several EPs and albums, including 7 Yearster, NAG, Molelipop, and Da Birdie. She is active in sites like Boston Fuzzstival, New England Underground Festival, New York H0L0, Trans Peco, Brooklyn Bazaar, Wonderville, etc.

作为一个多媒体艺术家，施金豆的作品使用音乐、交互装置、现场表演、动态影像、绘画等不同形式。其作品常包含来自自身跨文化经历的符号与意象，旨在通过虚拟幻想与真实感官中存在的表达可能性，对古老冒险故事的精神以及它们在当代社会的寓意进行哲学式的追求。

As a multi-media artist, Shi's practice includes music, interactive installation, live performance, video, painting, etc. Her work often contains symbolism and imagery from her multi-cultural life experience. Through the expressive possibilities in virtual fantasies and real sensation, she makes a philosophical pursuit to the essence of historical saga while finding their juxtapositions in modernity.
