ArtCN很荣幸地宣布即将参加第七届上海西岸艺术设计博览会。2020年11月11日至15日期间，ArtCN画廊将于展位A227呈现戴牟雨, N17 Nicolas Lefeuvre, 万琼, 汪一舟, Yoann Mérienne五位中外艺术家, 囊括油画、水墨、雕塑等多种形式的作品。此外，展位将于指定公众开放日特邀三位艺术家：戴牟雨, 万琼, 汪一舟, 与现场观众沟通交流，期待您的莅临！

ArtCN gallery is delighted to announce its participation in the 7th Shanghai Westbund Art & Design. From Nov. 11th until the 15th, our booth will display selected works from five different artists: Dai Mouyu, N17 Nicolas Lefeuvre, Wan Qiong, WangYizhou and Yoann Mérienne. Shanghai based artists Dai Mouyu, Wan Qiong and Wang Yizhou will be present at scheduled times to meet with visitors and share insightful views about their respective work. We look forward to welcoming you all to booth A227!

ArtCN gallery was officially launched in Shanghai in 2012. The vision of ArtCN team is to create a cross-cultural platform through art. We accomplish this through building a strong connection with both Chinese and Western artists underlined with our expertise in Chinese contemporary art. The gallery holds solo and group exhibitions of artists who have absorbed and reinterpreted elements from their native and adoptive countries creating a unique dialogue between Chinese and foreign cultures.

戴牟雨 Dai Mouyu

戴牟雨 (1975- )1999年毕业于广州美院装饰艺术系，已在上海居住15年。曾多次参加国内外展览，作品曾在上海021当代艺博会，伦敦ART14艺博会，法国里昂美术馆中国新生代艺术展，比利时安特卫普，上海美术馆，德国柏林未来游戏群展，ArtCN画廊双个展"一时"等展览活动中展出。

不管是在现实还是画面上，戴牟雨始终追寻着一种脱离的自在感。灵动繁复的线条，并不给人一种沉重感，相反的，能从画面中感到一种沉稳，内敛。呼吸间，线条自然流出，如同是他本人的意念延伸，从内向外，隐藏着一股力量。打破心中的界限，画中的界限，随之而来的，是一种惊喜、未知，充满着无限的希望与可能。

Dai Mouyu (b.1975) was graduated from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. He has been living in Shanghai for the past 15 years. His work has been regularly exhibited in China as well as abroad, including Art021 Shanghai Contemporary Art Fair, Art14 London Art Fair, Chinese New Generation Art Exhibition in Museum of Fine Arts of Lyon, Antwerp in Belgium, Shanghai Art Museum,Future Games Group Exhibition in Berlin and ArtCN Gallery dual exhibition "In illo tempore" in Shanghai.

Dai Mouyu always pursues a sense of detached freedom. His black lines flow out naturally as if they were an extension of the artist’s own thoughts, intersecting light and dark, hiding a force from the inside out. The form in the picture no longer matters; how to transfer thought from mind to the paper is what Dai expects to capture. The subtle strokes of his brush send ripples of joy at the moment when the ink and paper merge, when the boundaries between the heart and the painting are broken, followed by a sense of surprise and the unknown, being full of infinite hope and possibility.

汪一舟  Wang Yizhou

汪一舟(1968- )出生于江苏, 先后学习于淮阴师范学院、天津美术学院, 为现居上海的职业艺术家。他幼承家学，学习中国书法、中国画与古代文学，是中国较早学习与研究黄宾虹(1865-1955)的艺术家之一，进入大学后主攻油画专业，现在作品以多种媒介和手段传达其艺术精神。

艺术家用三十多年时间潜心研究中国上古文明和哲学的起源，这引领他以简单的线条和色彩和浓厚的人文思想贯彻他的作品。汪一舟偏爱以山水为主题，表达了简约、概括、孤傲、脱俗的内心精神。他的艺术语言充满即兴表现的诗意，并赋予他的每幅作品以广阔，深度和静止的力量。

Wang Yizhou (b.1968) was from Jiangsu province and has been living for more than 20 years in Shanghai. He studied successively at Huaiyin Normal University and Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts where he majored in oil painting. At a young age, Wang Yizhou studied Chinese calligraphy, traditional ink painting, and Chinese Classics. He was noted for his extensive study and research of the famous Chinese Literati painter Huang Binhong (1865-1955). 

Wang Yizhou has spent more than thirty years studying the origins of Chinese civilization and philosophy guiding his work towards humanistic concepts expressed in simple lines and colors. In painting mountains, his preferred theme, the artist expresses the inner spirit of minimalism, solitude, and detachment. He infuses his pictorial language with the poetry of improvisation and imbues each of his paintings with a sense of vastness, depth, and stillness. 

N17 Nicolas Lefeuvre

N17 Nicolas Lefeuvre (1975- )毕业于法国雷恩美术学院及巴黎卡蒙多设计学院产品与建筑设计专业。毕业后他曾用一年的时间于亚洲各地旅游。艺术家现于工作并生活于里斯本。Nicolas目前专注于艺术领域，他的作品曾于新加坡，东京，香港，上海，台北，巴黎，意大利等多地展出...他的作品擅长利用日本和服，日本木屐，麻将，印章，滚轴，木块等物体和水墨在纸上展开创作。

对于N17 Nicolas Lefeuvre的新系列"自我考古学"来说，他的“秘密”被书写在纸上，坦白，包裹，洗刷，封存, "埋葬"在他的艺术品中，并按时间顺序形成一趟考古之旅。对他来说，"神秘化"的概念应该在世界范围内更为普遍。他常思考："与其锋芒毕露，不如暗自绽放来的更为动人。蒙上面纱，始终保持那一份神秘。" Nicolas始终喜欢神秘莫测的奇迹。

N17 Nicolas Lefeuvre (b.1975) studied at Les Beaux-Arts in Rennes (France) and architecture/ product design at Camondo in Paris. He left to travel for almost a year all around Asia. He is now fully dedicated to art, and has exhibited his work from Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Taipei, to Paris, Italy...Nicolas works mostly with ink on paper, using objects and his work is an invitation through ink sceneries of mental travels.

For N17 Nicolas Lefeuvre’s new series "Self-Archeology", his "secrets" written on paper, confessed, wrapped, washed and sealed, are 'buried' within his artwork and form the foundation of each piece organized as a chronological and archaeological journey. For him, the concept of "mystery" should be more prevalent around the world. He often asks "why shine by your presence when it is so much more elegant to shine by your absence? Unveil nothing, indeed, remain mysterious". Nicolas adds that he loves mysteries as they beget wonder.

对于万琼来说，相对于其他的材质，陶瓷的烧制的过程中有其不可控的因素，充满着不确定性，包含着失望和希望。万琼认为，人们所看到的现实世界，只看到了能看到和想看到的一小部分而已。看到的其实是内心。

Wan Qiong (b.1975) was graduated from the Shanghai Academy of Fine Art. Following her artistic career, she has also engaged her creativity in Art Education and children's book drawing. She currently lives and works in Shanghai. She has participated in several exhibitions in galleries and museums in China as well as abroad: Shanghai Quanhua Art Museum, Shanghai Xuhui Art Museum, Shanghai Lin Gang Art Museum, Shanghai, Liu Hai Su Art Museum, Shanghai Art Museum, Berlin Gedok Gallery, ArtCN Gallery, to name just a few.

Yoann Mérienne (1987- ) 出生在法国, 从小就喜欢绘画的他，在13岁的时候于瓦隆大区国际比赛中获得了他的第一奖项。2009年，他在获得了工业设计学位之后前往澳大利亚生活了一年。之后他决定全身心地投入到他热爱的艺术创作中去。艺术家现生活工作于里昂。

Yoann Mérienne通过颇受古典文化及文艺复兴影响的绘画主题来探究现代性与历史性的关系。令人惊叹的单色调绘画将不同时代的古典肖像并置在一起，意图为追寻永恒的美，探索一条新的途径。

Yoann Mérienne (b.1987) has been painting since childhood. At 13 years old, he won the prize of the "Concours International de Wallonie". In 2009, he got a Diploma in Industrial Design and took off to Australia for a gap year. Upon his return, Yoann Mérienne took the decision to devote himself to his art. He currently lives and works in Lyon.

In his work, Yoann Mérienne questions the connections between modernity and historicity, with subjects influenced by both antiquity and the Renaissance. His stunning monochrome paintings deliver a new approach to classical iconography juxtaposing different eras in pursuit of a timeless aesthetic.
