隧道 The Wormhole

影片讲述的是最初意识的如何从一片无限敞开的虚白中出现，到形成我这个概念，由此自我裹挟着肉体横空出世。猴子背着石头挖洞成为一个个当今众生的缩影，迷茫无知的幻想让猴子倾其全力地挖掘，但却越挖越深，陷入黑暗。在洞中一系列光怪陆离的行为隐喻着当今世人所依赖的价值与概念。最终我们都需要找到一个出口，而如何找到并走出这片黑暗，成了这影片的高潮所在。 The moving line is based on the script Sun Yu writes and the linear narrative is the clue, separating the exhibition into four scenes. They are: Truth and Light, Sense Organs and Consciousness, five skandhas, Primordial Beginning, which presents the transformation of “Id” from chaos to freedom, from quandary to enlightenment. Sun Yu continues his reverse deconstruction within philosophy and religion. From a more macroscopic perspective, he reflects upon the interpretation about ultimate issues especially about the meaning of “Id”. And he continuously explores and elaborates the answer that he yearns for with artistic creation.

在千岛湖的不同区域，我在事先准备好的特定竹筏上，拿不同岛上挖的泥土建造塔，随着塔自身的重量，带动着竹筏沉入水中，最后塔消失在水中，竹筏又再次浮出，而我再次搭建，直到108座塔全部消失在水中。这是我在千岛湖驻留时做的一件事情，沉没也对应着沉默。千岛湖如今的美景来自于当年那一纸移民政策：海拔108米以下全部撤离。伴随着数十万人的浩浩荡荡，伴随着海拔108以下的全部淹没，伴随百八烦恼……全部沉没。In different areas of Qiandao Lake, I used the soil dug from different islands to build pagodas on specific bamboo rafts prepared in advance. With the weight of the pagodas, the bamboo rafts were driven into the water, and finally the pagodas disappeared into the lake. The raft surfaced again, and I built it again, until all 108 pagodas disappeared into the water. This is something I did when I join a residency in Qiandao Lake, and the sinking corresponds to silence. The beauty of Qiandao Lake today comes from the immigration policy of the year: all evacuation below 108 meters above sea level. Accompanied by the mighty and mighty hundreds of thousands of people, with all the submergence below the altitude of 108, with 108 worries...all sinking and disappear.

本画借鉴了经典唐卡中的须弥山顶的原型，因此芥子藏须弥这种极小中包含极大的宇宙模型是本画的主体，其中作者又将数学、量子力学与宏观宇宙论进行结合，组成一个由时间和空间无限延伸的世界，也是一个牢笼。画面中，众生在众业牵引下困于其中，而如何逃离这个宇宙的牢笼达到某种更绝对的自由，这也是本画的重点。The painting draws on the archetype of the top of the hill of the Sumimi in the classic Thangka. 宣纸，针管笔 Xuan Paper ，Needle Tube Pen，42 x 80 cm x 3，2019事物并不是一成不变的形态存在，从不同维度便可解构那些常有的概念。不断展开的整体性，从三个连续的图像表现事物的三面：物质、能量和意义。三者互为流动，又互为依存。Truth do not exist in a fixed form, and those common concepts can be deconstructed from different dimensions. The paintings shows three sides of things from three consecutive images: matter, energy, and meaning.The three are interdependent.
NAFI 2020南京国际艺术博览会将于11月26日至11月29日在南京国际博览中心4号馆举办。NAFI2020 以“影像”为破点、狙击新藏家群体、重新定义艺博会功能。包括Tong Gallery+Projects在内的国内外27家画廊及4家美术馆，2个特别项目以及2个特别企划将在此次艺博会上呈现。
孙宇，1992年出生于中国江苏宜兴。2015年获中央美术学院实验艺术学院学士学位；2018年获中央美术学院实验艺术学院硕士学位，现工作生活于北京。近年个展包括：“大圣光”，Tong gallery+Projects，北京（2019）；“光明想”，Tong Gallery+Projects，北京（2017）。
