艺术家-马克·罗素德｜相遇·上海当代陶瓷实验艺术展

Artist｜Marc Leuthold

Marc Leuthold, a citizen of the United States and Switzerland, lives and works in Shanghai and New York.  Leuthold has been invited to create and exhibit art all over the world and seeks cross-cultural creative experiences.   Leuthold was graduated from the University of North Carolina with a Master’s in Fine Arts in 1988.  Currently he teaches at the State University of New York and Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts.   Leuthold won one of the major prizes in the first Blanc de Chine International Porcelain competition.  Leuthold has exhibited in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, the Smithsonian Museum of American Art in Washington DC and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.  Recent exhibitions in Shanghai include a duo-solo show at ART LABOR Gallery and major installation works at the Wutong Art Museum and the China Art Museum.  

In 1999 Leuthold was elected to the International Academy of Ceramics; and in 2006, to the Swiss Ceramics Association.

马克·罗素德，美国和瑞士公民，生活和工作于上海及纽约。罗素德曾受邀在世界各地创作和展示他的陶瓷艺术，并寻求跨文化的创作经验。1988年，他毕业于北卡罗来纳大学，获美术硕士学位。目前在纽约州立大学和上海视觉艺术学院任教。在首届白兰地国际瓷器大赛中，他获得了主要奖项之一。他的作品曾在纽约大都会艺术博物馆、华盛顿史密森美国艺术博物馆和波士顿美术馆展出。最近在上海举办的展览包括在劳动美术馆举办的双个展，以及在梧桐美术馆和中国美术馆展出的装置作品。

1999年，罗素德当选为国际陶瓷学会会员；2006年当选为瑞士陶瓷协会会员。
