近日，艺术家程心怡接受巴黎东京宫的采访，围绕群展 Antibodies 中的参展作品，讲述了自己的创作经历与构想。采访视频中，针对在她所描绘的多个亲密场景中时常出现的“香烟”图像，她提到：“香烟是一种非常好的串联媒介，甚至无需任何言语上的表达或沟通，香烟便会自然而然的把人们联系在一起。”程心怡通过一遍遍揣摩画面背景的色调与层次，将一个个由抽烟这一欲望所引发的事件中所蕴含的极性感、极具吸引的魅力传达给了观众，并建立了观众场域和香烟触碰后点燃的瞬间之间一条温柔又有力量的纽带。

Recently, artist Cheng Xinyi was interviewed by Palais de Tokyo. Focusing on paintings presented in group exhibition Antibodies, Cheng talked about her creative process and ideas. In the video of the interview, regarding smoking scenes often appeared in her paintings, she says, "(cigarette) is a really good medium connecting people, or even you don't have anything to say, the cigarette connects people together." Experimenting with tones and layers in the background of her paintings, Cheng conveys the extremely attractive charm implied in the action motivated by the desire for smoking to the viewer, and hence she creates a soft yet powerful connection between the viewer's realm of presence and the painted moment when two cigarettes touch each other.

展览简介 | Introduction

在疫情席卷全球近半年的当下，多数人们以往的日常生活节奏被迫改变，人与人之间的社交与接触都随之变得谨慎、疏离，公共空间与私人空间之间的距离也随之扩张。面对这一现象，Antibodies 展览向观众提出一个问题“我们是否忘了我们实际有多脆弱？”集结了20位世界各地的艺术家的旧作与新作，Antibodies 展览并未将疫情本身和其所引发的公共医疗危机作为话题核心，而是由外向内探讨人之间的距离与接触这两方面的主题，意图引导观众走入每一位艺术家所描绘、突出的感官世界，通过呼吸、肌肤与感官来感受人们内在的情感联结，并重新审视社会关系的本质。

In the midst of a pandemic that is affecting every country in the world, many people are forced to change their daily routine; everyone has to be cautious and distance oneself from social interaction and the very basis of emotional communication – touching; the gap between the public space and the private space grows wider. Addressing this phenomenon, the exhibition Antibodies asks the viewer a question, “Did we forget how porous we actually are?” Having gathered old and new artworks by 20 artists from all over the world, the exhibition decides not to set the current public health crisis as the overarching theme. Rather, through a deep down exploration about two related topics, “distancing” and “touching,” the exhibition aims to lead the viewer into the sensual worlds depicted under the brushstrokes of artists, ask the viewer to feel the emotional connections through breath and skin and to re-examine the nature of social relations.

程心怡，1989年出生于武汉，现生活工作在法国及上海，她获得2019巴塞尔艺术博览会巴洛斯奖，她位于柏林汉堡火车站当代艺术博物馆的个展将于近期开幕。
