可以画廊将于2021年1月8日举办2021年开年首展,本次展览荣幸邀请林枞为大家带来个展“遗迹”。将完整呈现艺术家近年来的近四十件重要作品。

这是⼀个基于“算法”⽣成的展览,探究⼀种“绘画”的⽣成⽅式。展出的这批作品是以在计算机软件中的逻辑(形体模型——材质附加——形成物像世界)来⽣成,同时也实践了在⼀个“算法”逻辑下作为创作主体的⼈将感性的体验和实践中产⽣的“意外”如何与“算法”结合来⽣成绘画,这中间产⽣的“之间”的质感和感受是令我着迷的。作品的素材⼤致分为三种类型1.传统的艺术图像2.来⾃⾃⼰现实的拍摄3.来⾃于⽹络图像。这三种类型图像的共同点是它们都在我计算机的⽂件夹中同质化了,同时也都来⾃于“过去”。所以我视它们为⼀种“电⼦遗迹”。

其中的13件作品⽤3D打印构件与平⾯作品结合增强这种“遗迹”感。布展的设置也是基于这种⽅式⽣成的,在⼀个名为SkrtchUp的软件中,空间的⽣成⽅式基于平⾯图的线框,拉动线框形成凸出的空间,推动线框来形成凹陷的空间。展厅的设计模拟了这种空间的⽣成逻辑,展厅中的⿊⾊线框表示了⼀种“初始”状态同时也可以是⼀种推倒后”遗迹“的状态,时间在这⾥⾯是没有⽅向性的。观众可以通过⾃⼰的想象来编造这个遗迹的初始或完成状态。

This is an exhibition based on "algorithm" to explore the different forms of "painting". The works on display are based on the logic in computer software (body model material addition forming the image world). At the same time, they also practice how to combine the "unexpected" produced by perceptual experience and practice with the "algorithm" as the creative subject under the logic of "algorithm" to form paintings. What is the texture and feeling of "between" produced in the middle It fascinates me. The material of the work can be divided into three types: 1. Traditional art image; 2. Realistic shooting; 3. Network image. What these three types of images have in common is that they are homogenized in my computer's folder, and they all come from the "past". So I think of them as "electrical relics.".
13 of them are printed with this kind of works. The layout of the exhibition is also based on this kind of layout. In a software named skrtchup, the layout of the space is based on the wireframe of the plan. Pull the wireframe to form a convex space, and push the wireframe to form a concave space. The design of the exhibition hall simulates the logic of this kind of space. The wireframe in the exhibition hall represents a kind of "initial" state, which can also be a kind of "ruins" state after being pushed down. Time has no directivity here. The audience can make up the initial or completed state of the relic through their imagination.

林枞,1984年出生于福建,2006毕业于福建师范大学美术学院油画专业,现为职业艺术家,现工作生活于上海。

Lin Zong, born in Fujian in 1984, graduated from the school of fine arts of Fujian Normal University in 2006. Now he is a professional artist and lives in Shanghai.
