Design Society, Victoria and Albert Museum and China National Silk Museum etc., cooperated in the "2020 Annual Exhibition". The exhibition "Fashioned from Nature" includes the exhibition "new section Fashioned from Nature in China: Then and Now".
The theme of the exhibition-"Explore the relationship between fashion and nature from the 17th century to the present", through the exhibition, attempts to discuss fashion's inspiration from nature and its impact on nature; at the same time, it explores the current and sustainable way of life in harmony with nature.
The design concept this time is based on the theme of the exhibition, hoping to experience the relationship between "Nature and Fashion", "Chinese and Western", "Beauty and Responsibility", and "History and Present" in historical time through a fashionable and exquisite visual shell.
The design extracts animal and plant elements such as birds of paradise and wheat ears in the exhibits. It combines European-style round arches in the exhibition space with the design interconnection logo, using golden outlines, contrasting and splicing Chinese and Western exhibits. This dual design technique shows exquisite fashion and being in a cage. The result is a sense of break-away that eventually forms a time roulette from nature to fashion and back to nature. By presenting history and the present, exquisiteness and breaking free, we create a reincarnation that spans 2,300 years, where nature and fashion collide.
