这批作品创作于2020年这一特殊时期，而所有的改变、偶然与回归已然成为了新的常态，也是我们所共同的经验。胡介鸣的“格物”系列摄影是艺术家对“日常”的一次重新观察与“合作”，是一个长期推进的项目。同时，魔金石空间十分荣幸成为艺术家该项目的代理合作伙伴，并将“格物·2020”作为今年首个重要展览进行呈现，敬请期待！

Magician Space is pleased to present artist Hu Jie Ming's solo photography project "The Things 2020" on March 2^nd, 2021.

In the outbreak of COVID-19 in early 2020, Hu Jie Ming was home quarantining by himself and photographed the space and objects around the house which was very close to his daily life. The ordinary things appear with different colors and new aspects to the artist when he revisited and gazed into them again. It also gives him the inspiration to do the creation that back to the normal and seek knowledge from things.

The year 2020 is special for all of us, every change, accidents, and retrogressions have become the new normal, which is also our common experience. Hu Jie Ming's photography series "The Things" is created in this unnormal period, through a re-observation of the normal things and cooperation with alone times, it has developed into a long-term photography project. Magician Space is very honored to be the partner of the artist with this project and will present "The Things 2020" as our first important exhibition at the beginning of this year, please stay tuned.
