Celebrating 10 years of the JR's Inside Out Project around the world

2011年3月，法国艺术家JR受TED邀请发表演说。会议上他呼吁创建一个世界性的艺术项目，希望通过一个被置于街道上并能让每个人进入摄影小屋来采集大众肖像的方式，旨在让每个人都可以与世界分享自己的肖像。

In March 2011, JR was invited by the TED conference, where he called for creating an art project that the whole world would share. Then “Inside Out Project” was born. The concept is that everyone can share his portrait with the world. The photographic cabins of Inside Out are in the streets and thus allow everyone to get in and to take a photo.

唐妮诗画廊创始人玛格达·唐妮诗（Magda Danysz）大力支持JR的全球艺术项目，协助艺术家将《Inside Out》带到了上海。时光飞逝，转眼这一轰动全球的国际项目已经走过了十年。回忆过去，当时的场景仍历历在目......

JR's global art project- Inside Out was strongly supported by Magda Danysz, the founder of Danysz gallery, who helps to bring it to Shanghai. Time flies. This international project has been a sensation all over the world for ten years.

“还记得在2010年上海，我和我的团队在面包车里得知了你要去Ted演说的消息。2011年3月，在美国长滩，我和团队一起聆听了你的获奖演说：艺术能改变世界吗？”

“于是一个本应只为期一年的艺术项目，却在全球范围内开展起来。转眼就到了10年后的今天。我很高兴曾参与其中，在上海征集并张贴了10000张肖像照片。

每一幅肖像似乎都在呼喊：是的，艺术可以改变世界！从我个人的角度来说：是的，艺术改变了我的生活。它教会了我，无论愿景如何，无论想法有多宏大，我们都能做到。”

“Then from a project that was supposed to last one year is spread all around the world. And in the blink of an eye here we are 10 years later. I was happy to participate and even produce some of these actions as the one with 10,000 portraits pasted in shanghai.

All these portraits shout: yes, art can change the world! And on a more personal level, yes it changed life, teaching me that no matter the vision, no matter how big the idea, we can do it."
