迈克尔·纳贾尔的《外层空间》(outer space)系列探究了太空探索的最新进展，以及与之我息息相关的未来生活方式，在地球、地球外层空间和其他行星上的生活。通过纯净、大尺幅的图像和3D模拟视频，纳贾尔以复杂而批判性的眼光审视了正在改变我们与银河系和21世纪之间关系的技术力量。从古至今，宇宙这一神秘世界激励着人类走出已知的地平线，我们竭尽万难进入遥远未知的太空。我们与生俱来的好奇心，渴望探索的积极能动和我们本能深处难以磨灭的超越边界的期望，是这一切推动着人类宇宙探索的不断前进。在此特别时机，BANK 推出艺术家的全新独家《外层空间》作品盒，迈克尔·纳贾尔即将成为首位进入外太空的艺术家，该外太空作品盒精选汇集了12件广受好评的外层空间系列的摄影作品。

Michael Najjar’s outer space series examines the latest international developments in space exploration and the way that these advancements have and continue to shape our future life on earth and beyond. Through immaculate, large-scale photo compositions and 3D simulated videos, Najjar takes a complex and critical look at the technological forces that are transforming our relationship with the galaxy and the 21st Century. Our impulse to explore the stars bears witness to humankind’s innate sense of curiosity and unquenchable desire to transcend our frontiers. Najjar’s work masterfully profiles the imagination, technology and science that is propelling us into the galaxies. On this special occasion, BANK is delighted to announce the release of the new exclusive outer space portfolio box of the artist, who will be the 1st artist in the outer space. The box assembles 12 selected key artworks from the highly acclaimed outer space series.

迈克尔·耐贾尔(生于1966 年) 在德国柏林工作和生活。耐贾尔的照片和录像作品充分体现了他对艺术的跨学科理解。他有关形式和内容的图像语言可以引导观众进入一个由图像和元素蒙太奇而成、以模拟现实的复杂结构。他将摄影图像从其固有的观览模式中移除，并重置于一种全新的视角下。耐贾尔将科学、艺术和技术融入进有关高新技术影响下未来社会秩序的愿景和乌托邦中，对塑造及改变了 21 世纪的技术力量进行了复杂的批判。 

Michael Najjar (b. 1966) works and lives in Berlin, Germany. Najjar’s photo and video works exemplify and draw on his interdisciplinary understanding of art. His pictorial language of form and content guides the viewer into a complex construction of simulated reality which is generated by the montage of multiple image sources and elements. He removes the photographic image from its historical viewing conventions and resituates it in a fundamentally new mode of perception. Fusing science, art, and technology into visions and utopias of future social orders emerging under the impact of cutting-edge technologies, Najjar takes a complex critical look at the technological forces shaping and drastically transforming the early 21st century.
