户尔空间艺术家陈丹笛子，获得“非凡女性艺术家奖”项目提名，其作品“克斯玛”在今年（2021）北京 JINGART 博览会中以群展形式呈现。

Hua International artist Chen Dandizi is nominated for the "Incredible Female Artist Award" and her work "Cosima" is presented in a group exhibition at this year's (2021) Beijing JINGART Expo.

“‘非凡女性艺术家奖’项目是奢侈品电商NET-A-PORTER携手ART021 上海廿一当代艺术博览会，于2021年2月9日启动的艺术公益项目。这次跨界艺术领域，通过支持中国女性艺术家并为她们提供一个对话的平台，即是传达品牌精神的同时，又强调当下女性面对不同挑战展现出的魅力和积极拥抱未知的勇气。

专业艺术评审团由策展人尚端女士，艺术家周力女士，艺术家徐震先生和前常青画廊艺术总监 Federica Beltrame 女士组成。

目前被提名的 10 位中国女性艺术家分别是：陈丹笛子，冯冰伊，雷子艺，刘娃，刘沁敏，苏予昕，覃小诗，王玉钰，钟笛鸣，张丰渊。每位艺术家将围绕本次设立的主题‘她说’为灵感提交一件参赛艺术作品，于今年在北京JINGART博览会中以群展形式呈现，并由评委共同投票选出1位获者，最终其作品将于十一月上海ART021 博览会现场NET-A-PORTER展位中展出，并对其个人进行颁奖。

在全球范围内，近几年随着‘女性议题‘的备受关注，当代女性在艺术、设计、建筑和时尚领域的潜力却并未被充分发掘。此次奖项中，被提名的年轻女性艺术家在创作和解读上都是多元化的。他们的作品将帮助我们从当代女性的角度，运用绘画、表演、视频、摄影、雕塑或声音等多种媒介，探索时尚、消费主义、身份和社会问题等议题，重申女性力量与自我认知的思考和共鸣。”

“The ‘Incredible Female Artist Award’ is a nonprofit art project launched by the luxury e-commerce company, NET-A-PORTER and Art 021，Shanghai Contemporary Art Fair on 2021. By supporting Chinese female artists and providing a platform for female voices, this cross-border project aims for both conveying the ideological beliefs of the brand and highlighting the courage of women who face different challenges today.

The professional art jury includes curator Ms. Shang Duan, artist Ms. Zhou Li, artist Mr. Xu Zhen and former Galleria Continua art director Ms. Federica Beltrame.

The 10 female artists nominated are: Chen Dandizi, Feng Bingyi, Lei Ziyi, Liu Wa, Liu Qinmin, Su Yuxin, Qin Xiaoshi, Wang Yuyu, Zhong diming and Zhang Fengyuan. Each artist will submit an entry work around the theme ‘she said’. The submitted works are presented in a group exhibition at this year’s Jingart Fair in Beijing. The winner will be chosen by judges, whose works will be exhibited and awarded at the NET-A-PORTER booth at the Shanghai ART021 Expo in November.

On a global scale, in recent years, the focus on female topics has been increasingly emphasized, yet the potential of contemporary female figures in the realms of art, design, architecture, and fashion has not been fully explored. In this award, the young female artists nominated are diverse in their personal scopes of creative practice and interpretation of art. Their works will help us re-examine issues such as fashion, consumerism, identity, and social issues from the contemporary female perspective and through the medium of painting, performance, video, photography, sculpture or sound, reaffirming the thinking and resonance of female power and self-perception.”

这里有一个狭长型的窗户，像平面上一条敞开的缝。站在户外的人注视缝的内部：它是什么？站在缝内的人眺望着外部：它是哪里？我有些困惑，这究竟是一个缓缓外扩的出口，还是一个逐渐狭小的入口？何物存在着？在我费神对此反覆比对的过程中，我想起卡尔维诺在“隐蔽的城市之三”（《看不见的城市》）中对玛洛济亚这个城市的描写：“......假如你沿着玛洛济亚坚固的城墙走，在最预料不到的时刻，你会看见眼前出现一条裂缝，显露另外一个城市。一瞬之后它又消失了......”

“克斯玛（Cosima）”，我为我面前这条裂缝里的城市所起的名字。在克斯玛，时间是可操控的，每一位路过这个城市的旅客可以自由控制克斯玛城中的太阳和月亮的形态之变换。另外，克斯玛城的型态由一些句子组合，其中最重要的词语总是消失掉的，需要由他人填补。总的来说，克斯玛是一个时间混乱的断壁残垣，像一把缺齿的梳子，它的本质就如同它原来是他者的裂缝一般。

Cosima

There is a narrow window, like an open seam in a plane. People standing outside look into the seam: what is it? The man standing in the gap looked out: where is it? I'm a little confused. Is it a slowly expanding exit or a gradually narrowing entrance? What exists? In my repeated comparisons, I think of Italo Calvino's description of the city of Marloziya in "the hidden city iii ('Invisible Cities')" : ...If you walk along the fortified walls of Marloziya, at the most unexpected moment, you will see a crack in front of you that reveals another city. And then it disappeared...

Cosima, the name I gave to the city in the crack in front of me. At Cosima, time is a matter of control, and every traveler passing through the city is free to control the changing shapes of the sun and moon in Cosima. In addition, the pattern of the city of Cosima consists of a number of sentences, the most important words of which are always missing and need to be led by others. On the whole, Cosima is a time-mangled wreck, like a toothless comb, as much a crack in its nature as it is in the other.

陈丹笛子

陈丹笛子 (b.1990) 2015年毕业于广州美术学院油画系。陈丹笛子的作品具有媒介共生的特点。她对录像、装置、摄影和文学的运用构成了所需的组成部分，以照亮亲密的、短暂的瞬间和人类的情感。她的作品探索了与自然和人工世界中反复出现的现象相遇的感知和体验。她探索的主题包括人类情感的异化，被异化的个体的希望和绝望，以及对自然和想象中的景观的观察。陈丹笛子艺术探索的主题包括自我认识和对生活环境的观察，揭示独特的时刻和情感之间隐藏的关系是她创作过程的核心。

她的近年个展曾在户尔空间（中国北京）、广州画廊 (中国广州) 展出; 她参加群展的机构、画廊和艺术节包括：新世纪当代艺术基金会、时代艺术中心（柏林）、UCCA尤伦斯当代艺术中心、香格纳M50、OCAT 深圳、Para Site、西岸艺术与设计博览会、北京当代艺术展、户尔空间、广州画廊、胶囊上海、常青画廊、Spurs Gallery、深圳深港城市/建筑双城双年展、匹兹堡大学美术馆、墨西哥国家文化数字中心以及连州国际摄影年展等。入围2020年第八届三亚艺术季暨华宇青年奖和2021年英国NET-A-PORTER非凡女性艺术家奖。。

Chen Dandizi was born in 1990. She graduated from the oil painting department of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 2015. Dandizi's works are characterized by a symbiosis of media: Her use of video, installation, photography, and literature form integral parts required to illuminate intimate, short-lived moments in time, and human emotion. Her works explore the perception and experience of encounters with reoccurring phenomena of the natural and artificial world. Dandizi's art explores central themes such as self-knowledge and observation of her lived environment. Revealing the fleeting nature of hidden connections between a unique moment and emotion is at the heart of her creative process.

Dandizi's works have been included in a recent solo exhibition at Hua International, Beijing, China, and Canton Gallery, Guangzhou, China; her group exhibitions were held in New Century Art Foundation, Times Art Center Berlin, UCCA Center for Contemporary Art, ShanghART M50, OCAT Shenzhen, Para Site, West Bund Art&Design, Beijing Contemporary Art Expo, Hua International, Capsule Gallery, Galleria Continua, Spurs Gallery, Shenzhen Bi-city Biennale of Urbanism/ Architecture, Frick Fine Arts Building University of Pittsburgh, Mexico National Culture Digital Center, Lianzhou Foto Festival 2019. Finalist in the ART SANYA & HUAYU Youth Award and 2021 British NET-A-PORTER Incredible Female Artist Award.

Hua International is a contemporary art gallery based in Berlin and Beijing. Driven by a cosmopolitan and collaborative ethos, Hua International is a new global gallery for a fast-changing global art market. Founded by Hua in 2017, the gallery champions a cosmopolitan program across its two spaces, featuring emerging and established international artists with a special emphasis on cross-disciplinary, performative, and socially-engaged art.

The gallery has positioned itself at the epicenter of two vibrant art districts. In Berlin, it is located in a historic, pre-war building situated in Potsdamer Strasse; in Beijing, the gallery relocated to the acclaimed 798 Arts District in August 2020.
