（1944-2021）

我怀着巨大的悲痛，在此告知大家，我们在艺术道路上的伙伴以及挚友克里斯蒂安 · 波尔坦斯基于今日离开了我们。克里斯蒂安作为观念艺术家，在六十年的艺术生涯里以独有的沉思性与冥想式创作来回应生命本身及其旅程，并因此获得了巨大的国际声誉。他的创作包含了装置、雕塑、绘画、影像、声音记录以及化为圣地的场域特定作品。

自1987年以来，画廊始终全力支持克里斯蒂安的每一个计划。我们向他的家人和友人表达最深切的哀悼。有关他的人生及创作的纪念活动，我们将在后续告知各位。

In Memoriam

Christian Boltanski

（1944-2021）

It is with great sadness that I write to let you know of the passing of our fellow artist and dear friend, Christian Boltanski. Within his six-decade career as a conceptual artist, Christian received international accolades for his uniquely contemplative and meditative responses to life and its journey, which were manifested in installations, sculptures, paintings, films, audio recordings, as well as site-specific works which also served as sanctuaries.

Since 1987, the Gallery has been committed to supporting Christian in every endeavor. Our deepest sympathies go to his family and friends. We will be in touch when we have further news to share with you regarding a celebration of his life and legacy.

"Someone once explained to me that in Shinto shrines, in sanctuaries, there are a series of passages from one room to another, and in the last room there is a mirror, which means, that in the end, what do we see?
