2021年10月30日，艺术家刘家冬在工作室画廊的第四次个展「天地都会废去」正式开幕！

开幕当天，艺术家通过阐述创作理念及手法，将观众引入自己的精神世界。作品中，画棒、铅笔、油脂与纸张、布面之间的碰撞也为观众提供了一种特别的观感。

“天地都会废去“，这句取自圣经·马太福音的话，代表了刘家冬思考问题的基点，也代表了其所认为的真相——物质在消亡，世间无永恒。刘家冬延续了以体验和感知为主导的创作思路，通过独特的材料去寻找一个新的秩序，以游戏的方式通过绘画创造出一种陌生的体验。

在本次展览中，刘家冬将通过绘画等方法表达出在此意识下，自己对于囿困与超越、虚无与存在之间的关系的思考和探索。

On October 30, 2021, Liu Jiadong's 4th solo exhibition at Studio Gallery "Heaven And Earth Will Pass Away" was officially opened at Studio Gallery!

During the opening day, Liu Jiadong introduced the audience to his spiritual world by elaborating on his practice concept and methods. The collision between sticks, pencils, grease, and paper as well as the canvas in his works provides a special sensory experience for the audience.

The phrase "Heaven And Earth Will Pass Away", taken from the Gospel of Matthew, represents the base of Liu's thinking and what he believes to be the truth - that matter is dying and there is no eternity in this world. Liu continues his idea of experience- and perception-driven creation, searching for a new order through unique materials and creating an unfamiliar experience through paintings in a playful way.

In this exhibition, the artist expresses his thoughts and explorations on the relationship between confinement and transcendence, between nothingness and existence through the media of painting.

The exhibition will last until December 12th, 2021, we are looking forward to seeing you all on-site.
