JANG Jongwan's paintings and video work are on display in a group exhibition of Daegu Art Museum, "Humorland & Co.". Through humor, the artist portrays a human-centric society from his warm yet cynical perspective where selfish rationality as well as the eternal angst of modern man is valued.

The artist has ceaselessly examined material and form and has been working with metal materials such as steel, copper and aluminum for over five decades. The results of his abstract works are a projection of the body and mind of the artist himself.

朴英淑作为第一代女摄影师在韩国摄影史和女权运动中发挥了重要作用。她因其系列作品 "疯女人计划 "而闻名。该系列作品捕捉了女性的现实,展示了偏离社会规范的女性和被父权制社会结构束缚的女性。她在2020年获得了 "李中燮艺术奖",为了庆祝这一事件,展览在朝鲜艺术馆展出了她的一些主要作品,从10月20日到10月29日。
PARK Youngsook is the first generation female photographer who played an important role in the history of Korean photography and the feminist movement. She is famous for her series of works “Mad Women Project” which captures the reality of women and shows women who deviate from social norms and women who are bound by a patriarchal social structure. She has received “Lee Joongsub Art Prize” in 2020, and to celebrate this event, the exhibition shows some of her main works at Chosun Art Gallery, from 20th October until 29th October.

金仁培抽象装置作品<我总是归至别处 𝘐𝘈𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘙𝘦𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘖𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘗𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦> 在 "2021太和江国际装置艺术节 "中展出。基于对 "家 "是一个可以往返之处的理解, 艺术家在候鸟公园的草地上用约400个回程球组成了一个大圆圈,球被系在一根两米长的绳子上。显然,无论回程球如何滚动,它们都会回到原来的位置。球被用来形象化艺术家对“家是习惯性结果”的理解。
KIM Inbai' s abstract installation work "𝘐 𝘈𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘙𝘦𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘖𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘗𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦" is on view at "Taehwa River Eco Art Festival 2021". KIM accepts ‘home’ as an abstract concept that’sbased on the repeated action of entering and exiting. For this work, the artistpresents a wide circle on a patch of grass at the Migratory Bird Park, made ofapproximately 400 return balls tied to a two-meter rope. Return balls,obviously, return to their original place no matter what, and they are usedhere to visualize the artist’s understanding that ‘home’ is a result of habits. 观众被鼓励与艺术品进行随机互动,进而通过他们的动作产生位移。回程球以各自不同的方式返回,其中的圆形空间不断改变其形状,表明我们在家中留下的空间不仅会变换以反映我们自己,而且会同时经历多个层次的变换或变化。由此,碎片化的个体形象,以及由时间、地点和年龄等常见用于定义“家”之概念的含义被揭示出来。
Viewers are invited and encouraged to randomlyinteract with the artwork and in turn generate movements through their actions. Return balls each return in their own differentways, and the circular space within constantly changes its shape, suggestingthat the space you leave behind at home not only transforms to reflect yourselfbut also goes through multiple layers of simultaneous shifts and changes. And from here, images of fragmentized individuals, along with the meaning of ‘home’that’s defined by common categories such as time, place, and age, are revealed.-END-
