芳草地畫廊正在呈現藝術家任哲個展“眾生”。本次展覽作品系列名為“十二生肖”，包括雕塑與限量發售版畫。Parkview Green Art is currently presenting the solo show of the artist Ren Zhe titled The Enlightened Ones. The works on display are part of the series Twelve Zodiac and include sculptures and limited-edition prints.
作品「十二生肖」融入了藝術家對於时间的理解：綿長無盡，用之不勤，皦昧明暗，庚续相承；又通過生肖文化影射眾生在這世間的萬千姿態——世情皆夢幻，盛衰各有時，相逢聚散終有期。塵世之旅，當知自我之渺小、天地之廣闊，世間多少遺恨，俯仰已塵埃。修身自省，達則兼濟于天下，縱使逆境，也擁有「一簑煙雨任平生」般的肆意灑脫。見天地，見自己，才得以見众生。Works from the series Twelve Zodiac encompass Ren Zhe’s understanding of the notion of time, including the concepts related to endlessness, inconsistency, alternation between light and shadow, passing down to generations. The representation of the twelve symbolic animals of the Chinese Zodiac reflects the multifaceted existential condition of all living beings in the world. Everything about life is illusionary: prosperity and decline, gathering and dispersion are all temporary. During our existential journey in the mortal world, we should be aware that while us, as human beings are small, and the universe is large. Though our life is full of regrets, every simple movement might turn into dust. Self-cultivation and self-examination will help us to live in this world. Despite the adversities, one should have a willfully free and unrestrained approach: through the vision of the universe and of the self, one can finally see all beings.
潮落花飛，晴雨初霁，遠山青影，泗水南流。武士獨行於江風細雨之中，聞市井喧囂，見風起櫻落，卻不為塵世所擾，依舊保持內心平靜。The tide goes out and the flowers fall. The fine rain clears up the sky. The green shadow of the distant mountain appears and the river flows south. The soldier alone walks by the river under the wind and the fine rain, hearing the distant hustle and bustle of the city and watching the cherry blossoms go with the wind. However, the soldier doesn’t seem to be troubled about the world, on the contrary he always keeps an inner calmness.
獨行者從不畏懼孤獨，因人的一生注定是一場自在獨行的修為——孤獨與自在相容，平凡與脫穎共生。
While walking alone, he is never scared of loneliness, as life is bound to be a process of self-cultivation characterized by loneliness and freedom. Loneliness and freedom are compatible with each other, just like the ordinary and the outstanding coexist.
識天地之大、人生之苦，不以物喜，更不為塵世浮華而憂。如風穿竹，如雲飛渡；寄情四海，十年江夢。Knowing the greatness of earth and the suffering of life, the soldier is not pleased by external gains nor saddened by personal losses, and he is not troubled by the vanity and the sorrow of the world. Like the wind blowing through the bamboo, like passing clouds, he expresses his own feelings to the whole world.Real freedom comes from inner peace and tranquillity.

Sculptures from the series Twelve Zodiac(left) From left to right: Wei Ze, Wu Zheng, Hai Ding, Xu Mu, Shen Xi任哲的作品充滿活力與寫意、虛靈的意象之美。他擅於從傳統思想文化資源中汲取營養，將東方禪修的神韻和西方現代氣質作橋接，將傳統中國文化和西方當代藝術完美結合，並巧妙地轉化為自己獨特的雕塑語言。Ren Zhe’s works focus on the flow and the energy in their totality, and such abstract notions are personified by the concrete sculptures made in bronze or stainless steel, which express Ren Zhe's philosophy in art and in life. His works represent an all-encompassing positivity, which from Ren Zhe's vantage point could only be achieved from within, starting with one's self. There is a warrior within us, one which conquers, rather than is conquered by, the world.
本次展覽將持續至2022年。

任哲1983年生於北京，畢業於清華大學美術學院雕塑系，獲學士和碩士學位，現工作生活於北京。主要展覽「炁-任哲雕塑個人展覽」，太廟，北京，2019，「罡-任哲雕塑個人展」，香港中環交易廣場，香港，2017，「雲端-任哲個人巡回展」，新加坡，2016，等。任哲的作品被北京故宮博物院、中國美術館、北京僑福芳草地、新加坡Ion Orchard、香港陽明山莊等機構收藏。
Born in Beijing in 1983, Ren Zhe graduated from the Department of Sculpture, Tsing Hua University with Bachelor's and Master's Degree. The artist currently lives and works in Beijing. His main exhibitions include "QI - Ren Zhe's Solo Exhibition", Tai Miao, Beijing, 2019, "GANG - Ren Zhe's Solo Exhibition", The Exchange Square, Hong Kong, 2017, "Above The Clouds", Singapore, 2016, etc. His works are collected by The Palace Museum, National Art Museum of China, Parkview Green FangCaoDi, Ion Orchard Singapore, Hong Kong Parkview, etc.
