工作室、美術館庫房拆遷是近十五年北京頻頻遇到的難題。此次十三陵倉庫（工作室）拆遷，更是時間緊迫、突如其來。

 

The demolition of studios and art museum’s storehouses has been recurring problem in the recent 15 years in Beijing. Even more so, the recent demolition of the storehouse (studio space) near the Ming Tombs occurred to be very rushed and unexpected.

得益于元典武清正在籌備的《元典美術館收藏雙年展》，大部分重要作品幾個月前已運到現場將在武清展示，還有一部分恰因北京Yan Space的啟動得以安置。經過幾周的思考，我把剩下的部分作品與庫房可拆卸設施、家具，全部運到望京元典美術館，迫在眉睫的庫房安置成了2022年美術館第一個展覽的動機和理由。

Thanks to the current preparation of the Yuan Art Museum collection Biennale in Yuan Art Museum-Wuqing, most of the essential artworks transported to the exhibition space a few months ago will be displayed in Wuqing. With the recent opening of Yan Space, there will also be some other artworks shown (in this new exhibition space) in Beijing. After several weeks of consideration, I shipped all the remaining works, removable facilities and furniture to the space of Yuan Art Museum in Wangjing. This urgent storehouse placement has become the motivation and reason for the first exhibition of the art museum in 2022.

《倉庫》專案既是對多年美術館工作、美術館倉庫管理的一次反思，也是對社會空間與當代藝術關聯的研究。《倉庫》展覽不僅僅是一次事件藝術，不僅僅是對現實生活的直接反應，也是通過展示“倉庫”，使杜尚的生活現成品轉换為社會現成品，當社會的現成事物被移换到藝術的展覽空間，我們對生活的判斷必然被嵌入藝術的觀念之中。

The Storehouse project is not only a reflection on the work of the art museum and the management of the art museum’s storehouses for many years, but also a research of the relationship between social space and contemporary art. Besides being an event or a direct response to the living reality, the exhibition Storehouse, by displaying the "Storehouse", transforms Duchamp's ready-made from living reality into the social ready-made. As a result of the ready-made things of society being transported to the exhibition space of art, we may find our judgment on life embedded into the concept of art.
