在我们今天的日常生活当中,关于时间、空间以及人与人之间的关系,都在悄悄地发生着变化。掐指算日子是按照“48”小时核计的,昨天约等于前天,明天包括了后天。或者14+7天可以成为一个习惯的生活节点。空间上的时空相伴,避免了人与人擦肩而过的遗憾,你我之间是密接或者次密接的关系。开车看车牌限号,出行看核酸报告,证明自己是一天首要做的。当“堂食”可以让人知足的时候,幸福感就不在于加几个菜,规则是可以享用且上瘾的。

这批新作完成于疫情时期,像是自带了点悲情。其实,没有疫情的时候我也是这样工作的。晴朗的日子里找寻着灰朦朦的抑郁,疫情时期反而大放异彩画的尤其明亮,是想以刺眼的色调激活倦怠的神经,让自己喜形于色醉在大尺度之中。色彩可以导引人的情绪,舒缓亦可以预支挪用,移植在这平淡无奇的日子里。想给这些作品找个题目时意识到,脑子里汇聚的多是空洞无物的词汇,没有具体所指的生活还算是现实生活吗。情绪再怎样覆盖叠加也要去除情绪化,也许,这本是心象,也是我想要的。无欲无求的态度屏蔽了外界的干扰,沉浸在这些颜色当中莫名的情绪占为主导,漫无目的的人在无边际的世界里游荡,感受到的却是活生生的现实。

A Little Monologue
Today, in our daily life, time, space and the relationship between people are quietly changing. The date seems to be calculated according to "48" hours. Yesterday is approximately equal to the day before yesterday, and tomorrow includes the day after tomorrow. In other words, 14 plus 7 days can become a habitual life node. The limitation for intersection of time and space at the same place avoids people passing by. Otherwise, there is a close or sub-close relationship between passengers. Before driving, people need to check the license plate number and nucleic acid report in advance, as if it proves to be the first and necessary condition for the to-do list every day. Happiness don’t refer to adding a few dishes while "indoor dining" which can be satisfying, but the rules are enjoyable and addictive.

This batch of new artworks was completed in the COVID-19 pandemic, which seems to have a bit of sadness. In fact, other than that, I work the same way. On sunny days, I was looking for a grayish depressive color, but during the COVID-19 pandemic period, particular bright colors bloomed. I wanted to use dazzling tones to activate my tired nerves and indulge myself in wanton large-scale freedom. Color can channel people's emotions, as a soothing agent which can also be advanced, appropriated, used to transplant in these prosaic days. When I thought about naming these works, many empty and bold words rush in my head. Thus, I began to question whether this kind of life without a specific purpose is a real life. No matter how these emotions are covered and superimposed, I have to remove my emotionality. Somehow, they may be the mental images that I am always looking for. I let this attitude of no desire shields me from outside interference, so that I am immersed in the inexplicable emotions dominated by these lightful colors. An aimless woman wanders in the boundless world, but what she feels is the vivid reality.
