秩序与混沌

不以终止的画面作为结果，而是作为开端，会发生什么？会消蚀、解构？会重叠？会分裂？注视他，与不注视他，都无法把画中人从思考的迷雾中扰乱。没有视线的交汇，林潔的思考者有一种无法被圈定的抗拒感。他一直在那儿，不走开也不变老。人物匿名化后，成为了一种思考方式，用于对话的面具。每一个观看者都可以透过这个“面具”来思考世界，肆意坠入语言的陷阱，问与答的莫比乌斯环。

在这系列跨度十六年的作品中，时间的痕迹和无时间性并存。染、绘、摩擦、滴落的痕迹，甚至是偶然制造出的渍与屑，从来都不处于固定状态。消减中、擦拭中清晰起来的痕迹常常将母题带向新的未知旅途。铅笔的痕迹，铅笔被擦去的痕迹，还有“擦去”的痕迹被覆盖的痕迹，以退为进，以七窍的材料炼为灵魂。

她在生活的间隙里思考，将自己的感知、情绪与疑惑，化为时锐时钝的语言来试探这内与外的边界。她的作品不是一个静态的问答结果，更像是一个易变的溶解过程，甚至是蒸发、凝结的过程，像一个可以无限更新语言的行为。

最后的最后，益于观看的乐趣，请忘掉这篇文字，如《初生的大象》一般趟入这片湍急的“图像流”。

What will happen when the ending is not taken as the result but as the beginning? Will it dissolve or deconstruct? Will it overlap? Will it split? To gaze at him or not, it cannot disturb the person in the painting from the fog of thinking. Without the meeting of eyes, Lin Jie's “Thinker” presents a sense of resistance that cannot be trapped. He is always there, always still and young. The anonymized character becomes a way of thinking, a mask for dialogue. Every viewer can think about the world through this "mask", falling into the trap of language, the Möbius ring of Q&A.

In this series of works spanning sixteen years, the traces of time and the absence of time coexist. The traces of dyeing, painting, rubbing, dripping, and even the stains and crumbs created by chance are never in a fixed state. The trails, which become clear in reduction and erasure, often take the masterpiece to the new unknown. The traces of pencils, the traces of pencils erased, and the traces of "erased" traces, retreating to advance, are refined into the soul with the material of the five senses.

She thinks in the intervals of life. She speaks to test the boundary between inside and outside with the words that come from her perceptions, emotions and doubts, sometimes sharp and sometimes dull. Her works are not a static result of Q&A but more like an erratic process of dissolution, evaporation or condensation, like an act that she can infinitely renew the language.

Last but not least, please forget about the text for the pleasure of viewing. Trip into this turbulent "image stream" like a newborn elephant.
