本期分享美国哈佛艺术博物馆(Harvard Art Museums)收藏的部分中国金铜造像。美国哈佛艺术博物馆是一座隶属于哈佛大学的艺术博物馆,由三座博物馆及四座研究中心所组成,其中三座博物馆为:福格艺术博物馆(建立于1895年)、莱辛格博物馆(建立于1903年)及萨克勒博物馆(建立于1985年);另四座研究中心为:萨第斯考古勘探研究中心(成立于1958)、现代艺术技术研究中心(成立于2002年)、哈佛艺术博物馆档案库及斯特劳斯保护技术研究中心(成立于1928年)。这三座博物馆于1983年时整合为一个机构,最初命名为哈佛大学艺术博物馆。在2008年时,将大学二字从机构名称中移除而成现在的名称:哈佛艺术博物馆。
哈佛艺术博物馆全新结合,由伦佐·皮亚诺建筑工坊(Renzo Piano Building Workshop)设计。剑桥昆西街32号的博物馆标志性建筑的翻新和扩建,使这三个博物馆及其藏品首次在同一个屋檐下,邀请学生,教师,学者和公众参与,成为世界上最伟大的机构之一。
