DUMONTEIL is pleased to participate in the 1st edition Yitiao Online Arts & Design Fair, presenting a selection of seven artist's pictorial creations. The virtual booth will be featuring Vincent Cazeneuve's lacquer creations on panel, gouache on paper by Tess DUMON, acrylic on canvas by Rubén Fuentes, oil on canvas by Le Trieu Dien and Bruno Gadenne, sculptural paintings by Ugo Schildge, and Eric Pillot's photography series.

文森·漆的作品结合了他对中国漆器历史和传统手工艺的长期研究,以及他从日常生活和带有时光印记的物件中所获得的灵感。此次展出的架上作品同样体现了文森作品以“材料入画”的特点,通过苎麻的质感、反复髹涂、打磨呈现的纹理,以及被描金工艺点亮的抽象符号,最终呈现出丰富的层次和抽象的美感。Vincent Cazeneuve's work combines his long-standing research into the history and traditional craftsmanship of Chinese lacquer with the inspiration he draws from everyday life and objects bearing the marks of time. These works on the panel also incorporate his material-composed textures realized by ramie fabric and lacquer painting techniques such as glit-decorating and gold-leafing, resulting in a richly layered texture and an abstract aesthetic.

LE Trieu Dien (born in 1943) recalls moments of happiness and hardships in his life through works depicting the landscapes of the Mekong River Delta. However, the real intention of Le Trieu Dien, seeking its own expression, is to transcend the simple representation of the real in order to reach the abstraction of direct emotions.

布鲁诺·加丹纳用深度考察、实地写生的方式,通过作品引导我们在数字时代下重新思考人与自然的关系,感受自然的神秘力量与神奇之美。加丹纳的绘画对光线的渲染总是耐人寻味。《溪流大阶梯》被笼罩在蓝调的水洗中,这种独特的色调是艺术家别出心裁的利用古典油画中的透明覆色法通过我们的双眼完成的光学游戏,从而成就了作品的“情绪”。Bruno GADENNE invites us to reconsider the relationship between man and nature in the digital age and to experience the mysterious and magical beauty of nature through his research-expedition-based work. The rendering of light in Gadenne's painting is often intriguing. The Large Steps are shrouded in a bluish wash, achieved by the artist's unconventional use of the glazing technique to play with the optics of our eyes, and critical to the 'mood' of each work.

“In Situ 此处"是埃里克·裴欧从2010年创作至今的系列摄影作品,描绘了离我们咫尺之遥的动物的孤独,同时创造出一个充满诗意和色彩的世界。2012年,裴欧凭借《此处 In Situ》获得了享有盛名的HSBC(汇丰银行)摄影大奖,后于2014年获法兰西艺术院 Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière奖。

“隔墙”是埃里克·裴欧(Eric Pillot)以摄影为媒介创作的最新系列,继“此处”和“地平线”两个系列后,艺术家再次以“隔墙”唤起观众的想象力,用自己融合了建筑、图像和诗学,同时游离于绘画边缘的摄影手法,进一步探索人与风景和空间之间的关联。
"In Situ" is a series of photographs created by Eric Pillot since 2010, using a unique perspective that portrays the solitude of animals just a stone's throw away, while creating a world full of poetry and colour. In 2012, Pillot won the prestigious HSBC Photography Award, and later in 2014, the Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière Prize by the French Academy of Arts.“Parois (Walls)” is Eric Pillot’s most recent photography series. Following the success of the series “In Situ” and “Horizons”, the artist once again evokes the viewer’s imagination with “Parois” through his architectural, pictorial, and poetic approach to the image, and further explores the connection between people, landscape, and space.
