阿拉里奥画廊荣幸宣布,将于2023年1月12日至15日参展首届新加坡国际艺术博览会ART SG 2023。这是自新冠疫情发生以来,阿拉里奥画廊时隔4年首次重返新加坡,期望通过参加此次艺博会,支持并推动受疫情影响的新加坡艺术市场的复苏。我们将展出12位活跃在印度尼西亚、日本、中国、菲律宾和韩国的艺术家之创作,呈现亚洲当代艺术之多样场景。
Arario Gallery is pleased to participate in the inaugural edition of ART SG 2023 from 12 to 15 January 2023. Returning to Singapore for the first time in four years since the start of COVID-19, Arario Gallery intends to revitalize the Singaporean art market, which had been affected by the pandemic, through its involvement at ART SG. Arario Gallery will present works by twelve artists who are active across Indonesia, Japan, China, the Philippines, and Korea, each representing the contemporary art scene in Asia.
继2022年10月阿拉里奥画廊上海空间重启后,首尔空间也将于2023年2月迁至新址。作为亚洲领先的当代画廊之一,阿拉里奥一直以来与东南亚当代艺术家保持着密切的关系,奠定了其作为亚洲当代画廊的重要地位。
Awaiting the reopening of the Seoul gallery in February 2023 following its recent reopening in Shanghai this year, Arario Gallery has built a career in the international art scene by developing close relationships with contemporary artists from Southeast Asia.

Works by Eko NUGROHO, Indonesia’s leading contemporary artist, who has held solo exhibitions at the Asia Society, New York; Art Gallery of New South Wales, Australia; and Musée d'Art Moderne de Paris, Paris, will be shown alongside those of Leslie DE CHAVEZ, whose works sublimate the historical events of the Philippines through artistic interpretation, catching the attention of many Southeast Asian collectors.

A new series by Geraldine JAVIER, an artist who expresses the theme of unavoidable fate, such as death or good and evil, by referencing images from nature, will also be on view.

韩国著名艺术家郑江子(1942-2017)于20世纪80年代和90年代创作的绘画作品,记录了艺术家在中南美洲、非洲、西南亚和太平洋地区旅行时捕捉到的生动活泼的风景。重新介绍这些作品,画廊为观众提供一个了解艺术家经历与艺术实践的机会。郑江子是韩国占有领导地位的前卫艺术家之一,她引领了韩国行为艺术的早期形成,作品将于2023年在纽约所罗门·古根海姆博物馆和英国伦敦白教堂美术馆举办的 "韩国前卫艺术展" 进行展出。
Notable works include paintings by JUNG Kangja (1942-2017) from the 1980s and 90s, which capture the dynamic and vibrant landscapes from the artist's travels across Central and South America, Africa, Southwest Asia, and the Pacific Ocean. By reintroducing these works, Arario Gallery provides an opportunity to shed light on the artist's life and practice. The works of JUNG Kangja, one of Korea's leading avant-garde artists who led the early happenings and performance art in Korea, will be included in the Korean avant-garde art exhibition at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York, and Whitechapel Gallery, London in 2023.

In addition, works by Kohei NAWA, who recently held a solo exhibition commemorating the reopening of Arario Gallery Shanghai; GWON Osang, who is currently participating in the "Hallyu! The Korean Wave" group exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, England; LEE Jinju, who will be exhibiting at Marres, House for Contemporary Culture in the Netherlands next year; LEE Jeongbae, who recently joined Arario Gallery; and other artists including AHN Jisan, LIANG Manqi, NOH Sangho, and Uji Handoko Eko Saputro, who work both domestically and internationally, will be individually highlighted at Arario Gallery’s presentation for ART SG.
