展讯 | 刘讴睿个展「森林与猎人」将于3月4日开幕

新氧艺O2art798空间，将于2023年3月4日推出艺术家刘讴睿个展“森林与猎人”，也是刘讴睿继2020年“决赛，圈，工作室”后第二个国内画廊个展，展览持续至2023年4月8日。艺术家以“猎人”角色出发，呈现他在表层“森林”中的生长、蔓延及在美术史语境中探索、求生的过程。试图将现实图景与个体经验融为一体，经形态的转变各式生物浸透着神秘主义气质，同时探索着精神上的意欲。

O2art will present artist Liu Ourui’s solo exhibition “Chaser in the Jungle” from March 4th, 2023 in its 798 space.It is also the second solo exhibition of Liu Ourui in a domestic gallery after “Unsettled Motion, The Artist’s Studio” in 2020. The exhibition runs until April 8th, 2023. Playing the role as a “chaser”, the artist reveals his growth and extension in the presentative “jungle” as well as the process of exploring and surviving in the context of art history, trying to integrate the realistic picture and individual experience. Through the transformation of form, all kinds of creatures seem to be immersed in mysticism, and at the same time spiritual desires are being explored.

Liu Ourui, was born in Liaoning province in 1985. Graduated from the First Studio of the Oil Painting Department of Luxun Academy of Fine Arts in 2009. He is now living and working in Beijing.‍‍

O2art was founded in 2011. It’s an organisation that focuses on promoting and managingcontemporary professional artists. It has independently curated many group exhibitions aswell as solo exhibitions, with artworks in various media including paintings, sculptures, installations, photography and so on. Now O2art has two spaces located in 798 Art Zone and O2art Online Project Studio in Shunyi central villa area. O2art will continue to follow up artists’ career and creation development, and become a strong part of China’s contemporaryart community.
