EGG Gallery is pleased to announce that artist Brandon Yuan's solo exhibition "Static Velocity" will be presented from March 5 to April 16, 2023.

The machine has both a physical and virtual existence that can be examined. Brandon's works depict his unique perspective and experience of the world around him, nostalgically recalling those primitive and naive obsessions with radiating lines, assemblages, and variant spaces and elements. They demonstrate his ability to master abstract language and his unique insights into art creation, as well as a nostalgia for machines and a love for technology.

In this exhibition, he expresses his feelings and experiences with machinery and transforms these feelings into visual energy in the form of abstract painting, presenting a unique aesthetic and conveying to the audience his unique view and experience of the world.

Brandon Yuan （袁乐）

Born in Virginia 1996, Graduated from Maryland Institute College of Arts in 2019 (BFA) Majoring in General fine arts, During 2017 he attended an exchange program in the Printmaking Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He graduated from Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2022 with a (MFA) degree majoring in Oil painting. Brandon is now currently attending his Phd degree at the Oil painting department of Central Academy of Fine Arts.
