清影纽约｜黄佩珊：艺术家的餐桌 Peishan Huang: Artist’s Table

2023年2月22日，清影艺术空间于纽约空间呈现了一场特别项目——《黄佩姗：艺术家的餐桌》。现场不仅展示了黄佩姗近年创作的多个系列作品，还有她亲自烹饪的一桌料理。食物成为了作品之外另一个链接观众的形式，与现场的作品一同讲述着艺术家的创作和实践。

Inna Art Space is excited to announce the project Artist’s Table by New York-based artist Peishan Huang. The project includes an exhibition of Huang’s recent work and an artist-curated full-course dinner.

关于艺术家 About Artist

Peishan Huang, born in 1994 in Dali, Yunnan Province, China. She graduated from Internet and New Media, College of Advertising at Communication University of China in 2018, and later got a Master's Degree of Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art, where she won the Mount Royal Commencement Award and the Gold-Stern Emerging Artist Award.

Peishan's artistic practice spans multiple mediums including photography, moving image, sculpture, and installation. Her works delve into the interplay between physical and emotional landscapes, exploring the emotional resonance of objects and spaces. Peishan is particularly interested in the language of materials, patterns, natural rhythm, artificial objects, structure, pain, fountain, and surrealism. Peishan's aesthetic vision is expressed through a masterful use of colors, textures, and poetic emotions, and the narratives she creates through them. Her works tackle complex contemporary issues and highlight the experiences of minority groups living in the urban landscape. Over the past two years, Peishan has delved deeper into exploring the relationship between urban systems and nature, inviting her audience to reflect on the impact of human activity on the environment. Through her works, Peishan challenges viewers to engage with her unique perspective and contemplate their own relationship to the world around them.
