参展艺术家介绍
Participating Artists Introduction
索卡艺术荣幸宣布参展2023年香港巴塞尔艺术展，将在“艺廊荟萃”展区1B10展位呈现多位艺术家的精彩作品。此次展览索卡带来七位在亚洲已经有广泛影响力的知名艺术家和极具发展潜力的新兴艺术家，借于现象学的直观方法探索艺术作品中的同步性。
本文将介绍两位2023巴塞尔艺术展香港展会参展艺术家，洪凌与毛旭辉。

洪凌运用独特的东方语言借助西方的媒材，构建出自己独立的精神绘画空间，为此，在中国山水文化的腹地黄山建立了自己的工作室，表达着远离现实世界之外弥足珍贵的山水境界。他一直注重油画材料本身的特点，没有放弃油画媒介的表达方式，用一种中国式的观照自然的方式去表达自己的油画山水，在似与不似之间，抒发着个体生命经验，追求着一种天人合一的艺术境界。他借鉴传统绘画的造型观念、技术手段与西方油画艺术的形式相融合，创造出了具有中国绘画美学精神的艺术作品，尝试让传统的东方文化精神激活、再生并逐渐建立起自己的山水语言系统。

洪凌的作品不但广受亚洲藏家群体关注，更是曾两次代表中国艺术家受邀参加威尼斯双年展，并在2015年举办两年的世界巡回展，其巨幅作品“四季交响”更荣获中国国家大剧院的永久典藏。

Hong Ling used the unique oriental language and Western media to build his own spiritual painting space. For this reason, he established his own studio in Huangshan, the hinterland of Chinese landscape culture, expressing the preciousness of the realm of mountains and rivers that are far away from the real world. He always pays attention to the characteristics of the material, oil paint, itself, and has not given up expressing through the medium. He expresses his oil painting landscape in a Chinese way of contemplating nature. Between similarity and dissimilarity, he expresses individual life experience and pursues an artistic realm of harmony between man and nature. He combines the modeling concept and technical skill of the traditional painting with the form of Western oil painting art to create works of art with Chinese aesthetic spirit. Meanwhile, he tries to activate and regenerate the spirit of traditional oriental culture and gradually establish his own landscape language system.

Hong Ling's works are not only widely concerned by Asian collectors, but was also invited to participate in the Venice Biennale twice on behalf of Chinese artists, and held a two-year world tour exhibition in 2015. His huge work "Symphony of the Four Seasons" has even Awarded the permanent collection of the National Center for the Performing Arts of China.

毛旭辉是中国当代极具代表性的艺术家，以及85’艺术运动新潮的领导人物之一。他善于以形象暗示感性与直觉的传达。在创作思考的脉络上，截取来自日常经验的片段，将这些生活物件放置于画面中，因此在作品画面里，大量出现剪刀、椅子、紫色或金色等符号图式，以象征时代作为权势表征与人生的参照。
毛旭辉 Mao Xuhui,

毛旭辉的作品带着强烈的表现主义风格，关注于个人内心与精神层面的追求。在闻名的「椅子」、「剪刀」之外，此次展出的作品《圭山蓝调》中依然可见到艺术家浓烈的感情，逐渐从雄浑的意境转化为对故乡圭山的热情，更增添了浪漫与优雅的情怀。作品中生机蓬勃的牵牛花绽放在圭山的艳阳下，似一群吹奏小号的爵士乐手随着音乐自由摆动，心型的叶片妆点着不同层次的黄与绿，丰盈了整个画面。

Mao Xuhui is a representative artist in contemporary China and one of the leaders of the 1985 Art New Wave.He excels at intuitive communication and implying sentiment with symbolic images. In terms of his creation ideas, Mao utilizes episodes of daily experience and places objects of daily life in his paintings.As a result, a large number of symbols and images, such as scissors, chairs, and shades of purple and gold color, appear in his paintings to portray contemporary time as representation of power and privilege and reference of life.
Mao Xuhui's work has strong Expressionistic characteristics, focusing on the inner feeling and spiritual needs. In addition to the famous "chair" and "scissors" series, Guishan-Blue, on show this time, also contains the intense emotions of the artist. But instead, he turns the focus from grand aesthetic conceptions into a passion for Guishan at his hometown, thus adding a sense of romance and grace. In this work, lively petunias bloom under the bright sun of Guishan, like a group of jazz musicians swinging to the music while playing trumpets. The heart-shaped leaves decorate all kinds of yellow and green, enriching the whole picture.

1955年生于北京，1979年毕业于北京师范大学美术系，1987年毕业于中央美术学院油画系研修班。现任中央美术学院油画系教授，生活与工作于北京和安徽。

Hong Ling was born in 1955 in Beijing, China. He graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1979 with a BFA degree and in 1987 with a MFA degree. He is a professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, currently living and working in Beijing and Anhui.

Mao Xuhui was born in 1956 in Chongqing, China. He graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the Yunnan Academy of Fine Arts in 1982. He is a professor at the School of Art and Design in Yunnan University, currently living and working in Yunnan.
