参展艺术家介绍
Participating Artists Introduction
索卡艺术荣幸宣布参展2023年香港巴塞尔艺术展，将在“艺廊荟萃”展区1B10展位呈现多位艺术家的精彩作品。此次展览索卡带来七位在亚洲已经有广泛影响力的知名艺术家和极具发展潜力的新兴艺术家，借于现象学的直观方法探索艺术作品中的同步性。
本文将介绍两位2023巴塞尔艺术展香港展会参展艺术家，汤志义与谭军。
Soka Art is delighted to participate in Art Basel Hong Kong 2023 and will present seven established and emerging contemporary artists across Asia in the "Galleries" sector 1B10 booth.
This article will introduce two participating artists at ABHK 2023, Tang Zhiyi and Tan Jun.

汤志义作品为我们提供的是一种基于大漆媒介材料光辉的“镜像平面性”。此种独特的镜像般的“平面性”源自上世纪80年代的中国现代漆画运动，是中国现代绘画本土性特质的自然显现。汤志义对东方漆艺特质的领悟也表现在其早期作品的色彩处理上，以红、黑二色的强烈对比为基调，与战国楚漆器艺术既深邃、幽远、虚玄又斑斓、缤纷、悦目的色彩风格一脉相承。

汤志义自我意识中有着天生不受束缚的艺术敏感度，自身底蕴深厚但不张扬。以漆入创作，在叠加材质和不断简化打磨的双重工作中，体现出艺术家的耐心与虔诚。

Tang Zhiyi's works provide us with a kind of "mirror plane" based on the brilliance of lacquer media materials. This unique mirror-like "flatness" originated from the Chinese modern lacquer painting movement in the 1980s and is the natural manifestation of the native characteristics of Chinese modern painting. Tang Zhiyi's understanding of the characteristics of Oriental lacquer art is also reflected in the color treatment of his early works. The use of the strong contrast of red and black as the keynote is consistent with the deep, remote, mysterious, gorgeous, colorful, and pleasing color style of Chu lacquer art in the Warring States period.

Tang has excellent artistic sensitivity and he's very modest about his talents and achievements. He used lacquer as the medium of painting, an extremely laborious and time-consuming work, the layers of lacquer coalesce into a textured grace rendered by the repeated act of overlaying and washing.
谭军的作品主要为纸上水墨材料，材料采用中国水墨的腐蚀版画以及元书纸、漏矾的熟 宣纸、皮纸等。表现的形象则直接追溯到宋元明清之前古代文化典籍中的动植物或传说中的神异动物形象，或者说，其作品不排斥任何艺术形式的东西方的史前艺术、文明早期以及当代艺术中的形象，但艺术家在处理此类题材时，架空了原有形象在当时语境下的意义、转置或抽取剔除了原图像语义的来表述艺术家的创作意图。

谭军在以不同着眼点思考自我与外部世界的关系，深入当代人的精神世界同时，也在探索新媒材、新技法，并且逐渐形成个性化的艺术语言。他善于寻找不同寻常的艺术视角，通过特定意义的图像，描绘出静谧深沉的艺术情境。他也将传统技法中的线条、勾染，根据媒材的不同转化成新的形态。

Tan Jun uses ink on paper as his main medium, but also utilizes Chinese ink etching, Yuanshu paper, alum-loss shuxuan paper, bast paper, etc. The subjects under his hands can be traced back to animals, plants, or legendary creatures from ancient books made before Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties. In other words, Tan does not intend to exclude any subject from prehistoric art, ancient art, or contemporary art of the West and East. However, when Tan deals with these topics, he empties and converts the imagery semantics into the historical context in order to express his creative intention.
While Tan Jun is exploring the relationship between the self and the outer world from a distinct perspective, digging deep into the mental world of modern citizens, Tan is also exploring new media and new techniques and forming an individualized artistic language. Tan is an expert in finding atypical points of view and portraying serene scenery through images with particular connotations. He is also strong at transferring the techniques of traditional Chinese painting into new forms depending on the difference in medium.

Tang Zhiyi
汤志义1971年生于福建漳州云霄，毕业于福建师范大学美术学院，美术学博士; 中央美术学院胡伟材料工作室访问学者。现为厦门大学艺术学院教授，博士生导师，中国美协理事，中国国家画院研究员，中国美术家协会漆画艺委会副主任兼秘书长。

Tang Zhiyi was born in 1971 in Fujian, China., and graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts, Fujian Normal University. He is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Xiamen University, a researcher at China National Academy of Painting, China Artists Association Lacquer Painting Art Committee Deputy Director and Secretary General.

Tan Jun
1973年出生于湖南湘潭，2005年毕业于中央美术学院，获硕士学位。研习水墨不辍。喜画诗意、感性、微妙感动自己的物象。现工作生活于湘西。

Tan Jun was born in 1973 in Xiangtan, China. He graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts with a Master’s Degree in 2005. Tan has been practicing ink painting, and he favors objects that are poetic, perceptual, and touching. Currently working and living in Xiangxi.
