张大力，拆｜布朗·华莱士 – 红门画廊收藏于1996年

I followed Zhang Dali for many many years going. Right back to his work the photography work of the demolition Chi Series where he captured what was going on in Beijing way back in the 80s and 90s. The work that I collected from the Courtyard Gallery is a set of oh it's one photograph but broken into three, so when the light is on it's a light box. It's almost looks like it's a representation of the old alleyways in Beijing, so again I've had that for many many years and we're able to show it from time to time and the response that's been great. Because many of the younger people come to the gallery are not familiar with that series, and also not that familiar with the times back in the 80s and 90s when there was a lot of demolition going on.

我关注张大力太多年了。回顾他的《拆系列》摄影作品，他捕捉到了八九十年代在北京发生的进程。这套作品是我在四合苑画廊收藏的，一张完整的照片被分割成3个部分，当灯光打开后这又是个灯箱作品。它看起来正如老北京胡同的缩影，所以我已经拥有它很多年了。我们会时不时地展示它，反响也很不错。因为许多来到画廊的年轻人并不了解这个系列，而且也不清楚八九十年代发生过什么，尤其是当时正在进行的大规模拆迁。
