【艺术家驻地】驻留海岛鼓浪屿，参展第九届集美·阿尔勒国际摄影季

集美·阿尔勒国际摄影季将在今年迎来第九届，作为中国最高规格的摄影盛会之一，每年集结国内外知名策展人、艺术家呈现优质展览。

摄影季由十大单元展览组成，其中，“在地行动”单元旨在探索摄影与摄影季举办地之间的联系，希望基于本土文化发展的有机特征，呈现地缘关系的内在文化。

今年，“在地行动”单元展览之一将继续以公开招募艺术家驻留创作的形式，呈现艺术家在地创作的作品。驻留及展览展出地点为被列入世界遗产名录的“历史国际社区”——鼓浪屿。

2. 驻留创作主题需与鼓浪屿在地元素相关，包含但不限于地理、历史、建筑、音乐、物产、当下文化生活等。

我们将提供

1. 艺术家在鼓浪屿驻留期间的居住空间和工作室空间。

2. 活动组织，驻留期间我们将组织艺术家进行Group Critique，并可对公众展开Open Studio等活动。

3. 交流机会，我们将邀请集美·阿尔勒“在地行动”单元策展人与驻留艺术家交流，并可帮助艺术家与其他在地机构建立联系。

4. 展览策划及制作落地，艺术家将与专业策展团队协作实施展览计划。

5. 艺术家将受邀出席集美·阿尔勒开幕活动。

6. 媒体宣传，本项目将联动三影堂摄影艺术中心和集美·阿尔勒国际摄影季各大媒体平台进行宣传支持。

项目申明

1. 除以上支持项外，本项目不含其他创作经费支持，艺术家所需的创作材料等需自费。

2. 艺术家往返厦门的交通费用、在鼓浪屿驻留期间的交通费用以及日常餐饮等需自理。出席展览开幕的交通、住宿由我方提供。

3. 艺术家创作的作品版权归艺术家所有，三影堂摄影艺术中心、鹭潮·鼓浪屿美院对作品拥有展示和宣传等权利，部分作品将由鹭潮·鼓浪屿美院收藏。

· 关于鹭潮·鼓浪屿美院 ·

鹭潮·鼓浪屿美院，原福州大学厦门工艺美院鼓浪屿校区旧改项目，肩负着“让文化重回鼓浪屿，用艺术重塑鼓浪屿”的美好使命，打造匹配世遗高度的“以艺术为主题的国际化复合型文旅生态圈”。自2022年正式对外开园后，持续以在地文化艺术特色，赋能城市更新，构筑一种有艺术调性、充满年轻活力的岛屿新貌，让每一位热爱艺术的人，都有理由来鼓浪屿做一次美好停留！

· 关于集美·阿尔勒国际摄影季 ·

集美·阿尔勒国际摄影季于2015年在厦门市集美区启动，由三影堂摄影艺术中心和厦门市天下集美文广传媒有限公司联合主办。自创立以来，集美·阿尔勒展示了超过两百场来自中国、亚洲其他国家以及从法国阿尔勒摄影节中精选出的摄影展览。集美·阿尔勒展览主要在集美区和三影堂厦门摄影艺术中心呈现，并联动厦门本岛。在开幕周期间以及展期内，举办开幕式、颁奖礼、专家见面会、讲座、导览、表演、放映、工作坊、游学等一系列面向公众和艺术爱好者的活动。

Artist in Residence Program

Jimei × Arles International Photo Festival will celebrate its ninth edition this year. As one of the highest-profile photography events in China, it brings together renowned curators and artists from China and abroad to present quality exhibitions each year.

The photo festival consists of ten major sections, of which the "Local Action" section aims to explore the connection between photography and the local places where the photo festival is held, in the hope of presenting the organic characteristics of local culture.

This year, one of the exhibition units in the “Local Action” section will continue to hold an open call for art residence, presenting works created by artists locally. The venue for the residency and exhibition is Kulangsu Island, a 'Historic International Community' on the UNESCO World Heritage Site List.

1. Two artists will eventually be selected for this project. Artists with project-based practical skills and experience are welcome to apply.

2. The theme of the residency creation must be related to the local elements of Kulangsu Island, including but not limited to geography, history, architecture, music, local products and current cultural life.

3. The works created during residency should be lens-based, such as photography, moving image or video installation, etc.

We Will Provide

1.Accommodation and Studio: living and studio space for the artist during their residency on Kulangsu Island.

2.Events and Activities: we will organise Group Critique and Open Studio for the public during the residency. And artist will be invited to attend the opening event of Jimei × Arles Photo Festival.

3.Network: we will invite the curators of the "Local Action" unit to communicate with the artists in residence and help them to establish contacts with other local institutions.

4.Exhibition Curation and Production: artist will work with a professional curatorial team to implement the exhibition programme.

5.Media publicity: the project will be supported by the Three Shadows Photography Art Centre and the Jimei x Arles International Photo Festival media platforms.

Before You Apply

1. In addition to the above support, this project does not include any other financial support.

2. Artists are responsible for their own transport costs to and from Xiamen, transport costs during their stay on KulangsuIsland and daily meals. Transportation and accommodation for the opening of the exhibition will be provided by us.

3. The copyright of the created works belongs to the artist, and Three Shadows Photography Art Centre and Kulangsu Art Park have the right to display and publicise the works, some of which will be collected by the Kulangsu Art Part.
