Chen Yingzhou is committed to combining the thinking of internet users in creating images with the traditional drawing thinking of easel painting to create works, attempting to use early internet content creation thinking such as meme (meme), trolling (troll), mash-up (mash up), kitchen sink (kitchen sewer style) to dispel grand narratives of political ideology, hot current affairs, philosophy and religion. The form of the work is similar to satirical comics and pop art. Manually imitate computer electronic drawing effects, combining visual elements of comics and illustrations.
Chen Yingzhou's works focus on showcasing the inner world of anonymous individuals, using the element "bubble box" in comics to describe their fantasies and despair, as well as the oppression and suffocation in their minds. For him, the work of a manga artist is similar to his creative approach - using images for narration. Many symbolic expressions in comics, if left untreated, can only make the story blurry, and many elements in comics are already between symbols and concrete expressions. But for Chen Yingzhou, this "fuzziness" actually helps to enhance the atmosphere. Cartoonists give characters different expressions, clothing, and states, symbolizing specific details, and they combine to form specific characters and states. Cartoonists use this method to smooth the narrative of comics. Chen Yingzhou uses this method to unfold different stories in similar atmospheres.
Chen Yingzhou's creation wanders between narrative and concept, externalizing consciousness into images through the use of illustrations. The visual clips he creates carry his attitude towards the present: maintaining humor in suffocating environments and maintaining positivity in absurd worlds.

KeYi Gallery is a young contemporary art space established in 2019. It aims to create an open and experimental platform for artists and dedicates to promoting diverse unique art programs and works of art, exploring and developing young artists.
